Pet care experience
I first became a pet parent 9 years ago when I adopted my precious terrier mix, Coco. Now my husband and I have two dogs and an aquarium with 8 fish. We frequently dog-sit for a friend and host doggie play dates at our house. I love spending time with my family’s pets and making friends with the neighborhood cats. There’s just no such thing as too many animals! Although I have more experience with dogs, I do love other types of pets, as well. I have lived with roommates with cats and ferrets in the past, and they were both a lot of fun! I’m happy to make house calls to care for cats and other types of pets. However, due to the hunting instincts of one of my terriers, dogs are the only type of pet I am able to accommodate in my home.

Great experience every time!
Lia was so patient and kind. She sent pictures daily and did an excellent job with our sweet, but overwhelming rescue dog. He seemed to get along well with her dogs and I really appreciated the meet and greet before our vacation. I felt like our dog was in good hands and was very safe with Lia.

I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space where my dogs love to play. One of my dogs is very friendly and will want to be best friends with your dog on the first visit. The other will probably not show much interest, but she may warm up to your dog eventually. I usually let the dogs play in the yard about every 4 hours, but I can do more frequent trips outside if your dog is higher energy. Of course, I will supervise them during their play time. I use a laptop for work, so I can spend as much time outside as your dog needs. For house calls, I can feed pets, clean litter boxes, and spend some time playing with your pet and showing them some love. If your pet has any other special needs, I am happy to discuss how I can help with those, as well.

I work from home, so I will be in the home most of the time. My husband is a nurse and will not always be present, but he will also be there to give your baby some extra love on his off days. For house calls, I am able to stop by before 8am and after 5pm. We can work out the appropriate number of visits based on your pet’s needs.
