Pet care experience
Taking care of animals has been a constant in my life. My parents had pets before I was born and growing up there was never a time when we didn't have at least two dogs in the home. I’ve been doing Rover for quite some time now and have never met a pet I didn’t love! I have many years of experience housesitting with and without animals too, I am clean and organized and will not make a mess of your home. I’m happy to walk, groom, play with and give love to all your animals. I’m very flexible so feel free to ask me any questions you might have, I want you to feel comfortable with me caring for your pets!:)

Lia was wonderful! Our Great Dane, June, is one of those special dogs who is extra difficult - nervous, sensitive, picky eater, hates being alone, etc. Lia watched June for 5 days and did an excellent job handling all of her quirks. She even went the extra mile, making June chicken and rice when she decided to go on a hunger strike, and went through painstaking efforts to give June her pills when she was being difficult about taking them. Lia kept in touch with us throughout our trip giving us detailed updates on how June was doing. On top of that she is a really good photographer and sent us some great pictures! We left Lia a long list of instructions and she followed every last one of them and left our house cleaner than it was when we left. We would absolutely recommend Lia to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She is responsible, communicative, trustworthy, and was so good to our dog!
Lia is awesome! She stayed at our house over the weekend and took great care of our dog and cat. She sent very thoughtful updates with pictures and we came home to an immaculate house! She’s the best!
Overall super happy Koda came home happy and she handled him being anxious the first night great! We definitely plan on using her again :)

A typical day
My day revolves around the pet I'm taking care of! If they're more active, I usually start with breakfast and a long morning walk around my neighborhood. After this, we'll come home and I'll need to do a little bit of work for my day job. The rest of the day is up to the energy level of the pup, but I usually like to get in an evening walk as well. If the dog I'm watching is less active, I'll do things that are more their pace while still making sure they get the exercise they need. With any dog or cat I'm watching, I'm always happy to give specific care instructions that their owner has provided me with!
