I've been helping to take care of my family's pets - and then my own pets - since I was a kid. Whether it was the collection of farm dogs and barn cats at my sister's dairy farm, my mom's Pomeranian, or my first kitten (begged for and adopted at age 8), I've been scooping poop and offering up snuggles to whichever furry creature would take them. These days, my husband and I have a cat and two dogs of our own. We adopted both of our dogs at 4 months, and I've helped many friends with puppies and kittens, so I have experience with caring for young animals and assisting with training.
