My name is Lia and I have personal experience care taking dogs and cats for over ten years. I grew up with a yellow Labrador as a pet and have always been a huge animal lover. As a teenager I was the neighborhood go-to for pet sitting, and would often walk friends and neighbors' dogs. My responsibilities include making sure dogs were fed on time, playing ball, controlling larger dogs when walking them, and generally keeping animals company while their owners are away! Pets need companionship and activity to be happy, healthy, stress-free family members, and I am happy to provide it! For references, I have been dog sitting for my neighbors with 2 black labs for about 9 years. I often sleep over their house when they are traveling for work and follow laid out instructions for taking care of them. I also take care of my family friend's 2 labradoodles, and have been doing so for 3 years since they were puppies. I followed instructions for training them with basic commands and would leave notes to tell the owners how they were doing. I was able to control their high energy as puppies on walks and hikes with other dogs.
