Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, growing up with dogs like Dobermans, Pitbulls, Labs, and Bulldogs, as well as cats, snakes, geckos, and fish. I have experience with pets of all ages and needs, including administering medication and providing medical care. I’m patient, attentive, and make every moment count—whether it’s extra walks, playtime, or TLC. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities!

Leyda is wonderful she took great care of our dogs while we were out of the country. She’s very trustworthy and reliable I’d definitely hire her again.
I can’t say enough great things about Leyda!! I have three high-maintenance pit bull mixes with their own quirks and needs, and I am an overprotective dog mom and she handles them (and my anxieties about them) with so much confidence, care, and responsibility. She’s incredibly attentive, communicative, and reliable—I always know my dogs are in the best hands with her. Not only does she take amazing care of them, but she also goes above and beyond in every way, I have come home and my floors are freshly mopped because the dogs got paw prints all over, that is just one example of how she always treats my home like it is hers. Leyda is super reliable and also really flexible and responsive, if I’ve needed to change the time of her drop ins she has always accommodated it for me, which is so hard to find! One of the other things I appreciate about Leyda is she sends me updates every time she goes for a drop in, which has given me so much peace of mind when I’m away from my babies! I could go on and on about how wonderful Leyda is as a pet sitter, she is truly one of a kind! If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your dogs and your home like they’re her own, look no further than Leyda!!

That’s why I always recommend a meet-and-greet first. It’s essential for your pet’s comfort and safety, as well as ensuring everyone feels confident and at ease. If your pet has specific needs—like medical care, dietary restrictions, or unique routines—please share everything upfront. Open, honest communication is key to providing the best care possible. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I’m here to make this process as smooth and reassuring as possible.
A typical day
When caring for your pet, I love incorporating fun, engaging activities to keep them happy and comfortable. Walks and light runs are great for exercise, and I ensure plenty of outdoor time for fresh air and stimulation. If your pet loves car rides, snuggles, or scratches, I’m all in! I enjoy playing tug-of-war with ropes or joining in their zoomies around the house when possible. Of course, kisses, attention, and treats are always a priority—because every pet deserves to feel loved and spoiled!
