I am Lexy's Mom. She grew up with dogs and cats. We had golden retrievers and a german shepherd. Lexy was great with Brandy, our first golden, even as a baby. As she got older, Lexy brought Brandy outside with her to play. We lived on a gravel road with a pond and woods. I could always find those two roaming around together. Brandy was her best friend growing up. We also had two cats, Lindsay and Tiffany, that Lexy helped take care of as well. When it came time for Brandy to cross the rainbow bridge, she was right there with her. Then Lexy and I got two golden retrievers this time. Why? Because Lexy said she did not want the one puppy to be lonely at home while we were at school and work. Again, Lexy became inseparable from the girls. We also had a black german shepherd named Zamp that joined our wolfpack two years after we got the girls. If she could have brought them all to college she would have. Lexy loves all dogs and would be an exceptional caretaker for any pet owner.
