I have worked at Lansing's local shelter for nearly four years, with a start in animal care services. I currently work in community outreach, with a focus on facilitating safe interactions between shelter animals and the public. I have worked with pets showing many different behavioral needs, and am comfortable under nearly any circumstances related to animal care. I believe enrichment is a top priority, and will make sure that your pets are mentally stimulated. I have attended numerous animal training and handling courses, and can walk and attend to even the most stubborn pets. I have a knowledge of pet health care, and am comfortable medicating animals and working with special medical cases. I have fostered a fair share of senior/medical needs dogs! I have two dogs of my own, both being therapy dog certified.
