I've grown up with dogs and taken care of them my whole life, including my newest pup Finnegan, a 2yo ball of fun. I adopted Finn when he was 4mo so I am familiar with the needs of puppy training, and have experience caring for my family's senior dogs. *note: I am allergic to cats and cannot provide house-sitting or boarding for cats, but am happy to provide drop-in care for cats.

Since I have a dog in the house already, boarding or in-home pet-sitting will need to get along with other dogs. Mine is very playful and has never met a dog he doesn't like! I do not have a yard but provide multiple long (30min+) walks per day to ensure adequate exercise and our apartment is full of toys to play with (I have a barkbox subscription and an overflowing basket of toys to choose from). I have plenty of treats and beds, and dogs are allowed on furniture. I spoil my dog and would do the same for yours! *note: I am allergic to cats and cannot provide house-sitting or boarding for cats, but am happy to provide drop-in care for cats.

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any allergies, or any specific external stressors you're aware of (ex: my dog isn't a huge fan of car rides and gets a little scared when busses pass by on our walks)
A typical day
In a typical day, we'll play a lot of fetch while in the house and the dogs will be free to play together as much as they like. My Finnegan loves to play with other dogs so they will easily tire each other out! I also live a short walk to Morley Park and walk there with Finn most days, or take long walks around my North Park neighborhood.
