Pet care experience
I’ve had my Aussie/ red heeler mix since he was 4 months old. He is a sweet and energetic pup and I and trained him myself! If you need help continuing training while having others walk your dog I can definitely do that. I love all animals and will care for yours like their my own. I like to incorporate different styles of walking, letting them sniff more to engage them mentally, changing up the routes to keep them curious and including some running if needed. However, I will follow your instructions carefully if there are any medical, physical or mental requirements. As a dog owner I know how important they are to you and how difficult it can be to trust in others to take care of them the way you need. Getting outside is one of my favorite things to do and this helps me and your fur baby get some much needed nature time. Feel free to ask any questions or tell me your concerns.

As a dog mom I am very careful of what I let my dog eat and breathe. Pets are much more sensitive to certain pollutants wether that be in the air, food, house hold items, etc. I make sure to only use pet safe ingredients, products, candles, etc. I will always make sure they can’t get into anything they’re not supposed to. I know how difficult it can be for pets to trust others and do my best to gain their trust and show I am not a threat. I can read dog body language pretty well and know when to give them space, attention, make sure they feel safe and diffuse tension between other animals if necessary.

It’s important for me to know what breed, age, medical background, behavior problems, temperament, fears, and energy level your animal has so I can be prepared and know if it’s a right fit. I’d also like to know what training techniques you use and what you’d like me to implement!
A typical day
I love to take my dog on different routes every time we walk so it keeps things interesting and engaging for me and them. I think it’s important to let them sniff and poke around where they can to engage them mentally. I think the best places to be are where nature is present so we can benefit from the healing properties of Mother Earth ? If there’s ever times where a walk is not possible due to weather or injury, making sniff/ lick mats is important to get out energy and engage them mentally.

Availability
For the week of 9/25 to 10/1 I am free anytime besides Saturday evening. After that I am mostly free on mornings and afternoons as I will be working mainly in the evening. However, I can do evenings depending on the day so feel free to ask.
