Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Alexis! I have a Boston Terrier of my own. He is very vocal so if your dog(s) are not comfortable with barking we are probably not the best fit for your stay! I’ve worked at a service dog training facility, so my specialty is definitely dogs. But! I’ve grown up and watched all sorts of animal family members! I have experience with parrots, cats, rodents, snakes and lizards! I literally love all animals and am comfortable caring for them as well.

Lexie went above and beyond in her care and communication. My dogs were super chill upon return and videos provided total peace of mind that they had a blast with her resident pup during their stay.
Lexie was the best. She took great care of Dobby. She was always updating me with videos and photos during the day. She even took time out to do some training during the day. Will look forward to booking time with Lexie when we have the need.
Lexie was wonderful. She was very kind and made our senior dog comfortable. She took the time to meet me beforehand and answered all my questions. She sent me multiple messages, pictures, and videos which I really appreciated during our trip. It gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend Lexie.

Safety is huge, as it should be. I have a fenced in backyard with quite a lot of space for safe, always supervised, play & potty time! I also have 2 different sized kennels accessible if that is how your loved one feels secure and safe. A large kennel as well as small and they are always indoors to protect from the season, whether hot or cold. I always feed separately to avoid food anxiety. Please let me know if there are any questions or suggestions you have to improve! I want you to feel comfortable and that it’s almost as if leaving your cherished pet with a family member!! Boarding Clients only I currently live with my Fiancé (male) and a neutered Boston Terrier (male/7years). If your pet does not like men or is not pet friendly/sensitive to barking, I am unfortunately not a good fit for your pet to stay in my home but I am more than happy to house sit for you.

A typical day
I love to ensure every pet gets personal 1-1 time as well as activities they are used to at home. Your pet likes long walks? That’s great! I live right near an Apex Nature Park entrance! Your pet likes cuddles and pets? Me too! You’ve got a ball chasing, rope war winning pup? They’ve got a partner in me!

Availability
I’m currently working from home and have a very flexible schedule which works great for caring for your loved pet! I’m always available before 10am and after 4pm. I can take lunch anytime between 11:30-2pm to make sure your pet gets the care they need. If boarding working from home makes sure you have peace of mind your dog/pet will be with me 100% of the day!
