Pet care experience
My name is Lexie A. and I have lived in Philadelphia for three years! I also got my very own Bichon last year after growing up with one as a kid. I have taught my new dog everything he knows and nursed him back to health when he was sick or after surgery. I am used to pets with lots of energy but also enjoy cuddling and kisses from any loving pet! I also work for Wag and have volunteered at Doggie Style stores in the city. I read three books about raising dogs over the past three years and I am currently a full time MBA student at Temple so I spend a lot of time at home playing with pets and going on long walks!

Lexie was able to watch Pants last minute after my sitter cancelled. She was very caring for my dog as if he was he own. I received regular updates during his stay. I also loved the fact that there is a large courtyard where the dogs could run around & she gives multiple walks daily. I will definitely book her again!
Unfortunately, Lexie was unable to care for our puppy. We had let her know in advance that he was only 9 months old, however, she seemed like she had never taken care of a puppy before. She called and texted us repeatedly while I was out of the state at a work conference. She let us know that she couldn't watch him for the second night (we had booked her for two, and she was in a panic with our pup on the first night). It was extremely difficult for us to make alternate arrangements at the last minute, and we really didn't feel like she was equipped to handle our 12 lb. mini poodle.

We have a courtyard in our building that has a dog park area making it very safe for dogs! We can also walk all around the city and to different dog parks. The intersection of Washington and Broad is not too crowded with people and has a PetSmart for even more fun!
