I’ve always had at least one dog or cat in my home for as long as I can remember. Neighbors, friends and family members would ask me to come over to walk their dogs or to house-sit for a few days while they were gone. I may not have any special skills but so far every dog and even cat I met have liked me from the first meeting and there have been no issues with trust between them and myself. I can provide references for a couple past dog sitting and house sitting jobs I have done in the last two years.

To whom this concerns, My name is Tara, and Lexi is my niece. She is someone i can look up too and admire. She has a huge heart, exapecially when it comes to fur baby’s. Since fourth grade she’s always wanted to be in vet tech. She’s always helped around the community watching and walking peoples animals. Taken care of everything from hedge hogs to horses. She would be an amazing choice to help you with your pets.
I have known Lexi since she was about 6 years old and the one thing I can honestly say about Lexi is that she loves animals! She has always remembered every single animal's name and age and they all love her! Almost every picture I have of her is with her surrounded by animals. Lexi is a very sweet and kind person. She is patient and never has a bad word to say about anyone. Everyone who knows her loves her! She would be awesome at this job. I have always encouraged her to go to school to do something involving animals because she is so passionate about them and good with them.

My own dog can be a hit or miss with how she is with other dogs due to her age and being an only dog. Her interactions with other dogs start off nice until they try to get to close or pushy with her then she lets them know that she’s had enough. I do live in a subdivision where I can walk them around a fairly large loop around the houses. My boyfriend and I are going to put some fencing up around the the backyard along with grass seeds so there will be some grass they could play in.

The main thing I would like to know is if there are any special needs or if there is a specific way or schedule that I would need to know. Another thing would be if there were specific activities that your pet likes doing.
A typical day
Normally if I were to put on a leash we would go on walks around the house and neighborhood until they wanted to turn around and head back home. If your pet likes to run around outside in a park then we would run around the park, or if they’re more into staying inside and playing with toys we would do that.

Availability
I’m currently working full time and am away from home from 9:30 pm till about 7 am while sometimes getting called into work early. I am pretty flexible for the most part. Early afternoons to early evenings I am available and would love to spend some time with your furry babies!
