It wasn't until I moved out of my parent's house for college that I lived without a dog, and let me tell you... a house without a dog just isn't the same! In my early years of college, I did a lot of dog sitting/house sitting and really enjoyed having dogs back in my life. With an anticipated move to New York in February, I am looking to spend this transitional period by helping out with some four-legged friends. As mentioned at the beginning of this description, dogs have always been a huge part of my family. This being said, I understand how much attention and love it takes to make sure our dogs feel comfortable! Looking forward to hearing from you - I can't wait to get to know your family and your dog(s)

Dogs are similar to humans in the sense that they alllllllll have their different needs. With varying temperaments and health conditions, I make sure each dog is cared for with this in mind. I am someone who asks a lot of questions, so when we have our initial conversations, I'll make sure to find out what kind of care each dog requires!

I have handled dogs of many varieties, so I am open to anything you have to throw at me! I also trust that you will share the important details about making sure your dog is happy and that I will ask the right questions in addition to that if necessary.
A typical day
If I am trusted enough with someone's dog, I will make sure to do what I can to maintain this trust. This being said, you will not be paying me for nothing. If I am working with an active dog, a walk or a visit to the dog park it is. If I am watching an old dog, I know that, sometimes, all they want to do is sit on the couch and cuddle... and I am more than happy to do that!
