Pet care experience
Hello! I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 for neighbors, friends, and family. I’ve had a horse for 8 years and am comfortable taking care of all livestock in addition to household pets! I did dog 4H for 8 years and horse 4H for 4, as well as competed on the FFA vet team and the WA state high school equestrian team. My family has fostered and helped train 4 service dogs for Summit Assistance Dogs in Washington.

Lexi did a fantastic job dog sitting our 2 dogs for 2 nights. She was great with the dogs, including giving them medicine. She was super tidy as well. Highly recommend her! We will hire her again.
Lexi was very responsive and checked in with us daily. We got lots of picture updates of our happy dog. Everything was just as we left it when we returned home and Lexi even watered our seedlings while we were away!
Lexi took amazing care of my dogs while I was out of town! I had to book her last minute as my circumstances changed. I would use Lexi again and I highly recommend her! She also left my apartment in beautiful condition!

I always check with owners for specific details and preferred handling techniques. Depending on what the owner wants, I can walk dogs, let them out multiple times a day, feed and water, administer medications, wash, stay the night, and spend time with them during the day!

Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements or needs that I should be aware of, such as health or age related problems. This lets me know if there are any extra precautions I should take (such as lighter walks or forms of play for those with joint problems) and what to look out for when watching your baby!
A typical day
One of my favorite things to do when watching dogs is to go on walks or jogs around the neighborhood or play fetch in the backyard. I also love taking dogs on hikes when the weather is good!

Availability
I’m a nursing student at MSU but am off for the summer semester! I typically work 8:30-3 Monday through Thursday, but would be able to do drop in visits before and after. I don’t have room in my apartment for anything other than our rescue cat, so I would love to get my animal fix while caring for your pets!
