Best Playdate for your Best Friend
Pet care experience
Hello everyone! My name is Lexi and I am wanting to become your pets best friend! I am originally from outside of Chicago, but I am in Kalamazoo for grad school at Western. I am fairly new to rover, but I have provided care for dogs and cats over the years. In addition, I am a full time nanny of 8+ years and I have helped care for pets along the way. From puppies to full adult dogs, I have taken care of various kinds. Recently, I lost my childhood dog of 16+ years and I am wanting to shower your pet in love, considering I am missing mine:( I do have another dog in Chicago that is a bitter (Chihuahua mix), so I have experience with territorial and scared dogs. With my experience with kids, I am happy to walk a dog with kids or an elder who may want to join. I have helped watch friends and neighbors' dog before. I am happy to play, walk, pet, or provide training that is given with instructions. I would love if you ask any questions about my experiences or services!

For me, I would like to know if there is any certain special care the dog will need. If there is any sort of new training, I do not want to stop the progress, so I would like to be informed before hand in case I have questions. I like to know if you prefer walks or taking the dog out in the backyard. Also, please let me know if the dog has any bitting or behavioral issues beforehand.
A typical day
I love to treat every dog like it is my own because I understand how it is to be the owner who is worried about your best friend's care. I would love to provide new routes for the dog and make each visit exciting and different. If its playing at a park or in a backyard, I am up for any adventure

Availability
I am a graduate student and I want to spend my breaks caring for different pets. During study breaks, after or before classes is ideal. I am okay with last minute booking and cancellations as long as it works with my schedule.
