Pet care experience
I have a kitten of my own who I take care of. I have always owned cats and dogs growing up. Additionally, I have assisted in watching my friends and family members pets ever since middle school! I have experience with walking, feeding, bathing, litter box cleaning, shedding maintenance, nail trimmings, and basic first aid/medication handling such as cleaning and caring for minor wounds along with giving oral, topical, and/or ophthalmic medications. This experience came from helping with friends/family members pets as well as my own. As for house-sitting, I have experience with watering, harvesting, and pruning plants. I take care of my own succulents and help with my mother's garden. I also will take care of basic household responsibilities such as retrieving mail, taking out the trash, and I always clean up after myself.

Lexi has worked for us and our two cats twice now, doing a few “drop in” visits for a weekend and then house sitting for a week. She’s been great, taking good care of everything (one of our cats requires twice daily meds for asthma) and keeping us up-to-date while we were away. We highly recommend her!

Lexi was amazing with my energetic pup. She was very accommodating to my schedule which I know can be difficult. She was responsive when needed making it easy to communicate. I loved getting all the pictures she sent showing my pup having a great time!
Lexi was great with Teddy! We came home to a clean house and a happy dog. She was very communicative, and sent us great videos of them playing and having some snuggles on the couch. He clearly had a great time with her.

A typical day
I love to watch play fetch and tug of war with dogs! My cats loved to play fetch when they were young too! A lot of puppies and small dogs I have interacted with love to try to catch your hands if your rub them on the ground quickly and I think it's so entertaining for both the dog and myself. I love to walk with dogs on trails if there are any nearby too.

Availability
I am a college student and volunteer to help coach my high school cheer team. My schedule is quite flexible though. My max time away from your pet would be 4 hours and I am able to spend some time with your pet every morning, afternoon, and evening each day. I am also available for overnight care any day of the week.
