Your K9 Vacation Spot - Fenced Yard
Pet care experience
Our home will become your dogs home away from home when they vacation with us. I will keep you updated with messages and pictures throughout their stay, and you are always more than welcome to call to check in on them. During their vacation, your pooch will have the opportunity to play with me, my dog-loving boyfriend, and our two rambunctious pups! You won't have to worry about them not getting enough exercise, though you may have to worry about them being too spoiled. We've got a fenced back yard for supervised outside playtime, and great neighborhood walking trails for exploring. And when everyone runs out of energy we've got plenty of comfy spots indoors to snuggle up and cuddle. We have experience with the puppy stage, senior dogs, and everything in between. We board house trained pups over 4 months old and prefer dogs under 50 pounds as our youngest pup can be nervous around bigger dogs (but we will accept meet and greets of dogs up to 100 pounds to assess for potential vacations). To make your doggo's vacation more comfortable we ask that you bring their food with you to avoid upset stomachs. You are also more than welcome to bring any special blankets, toys, treats, etc. (although none of these items are necessary). * I will not board, walk or accept drop-in visits for dogs that are not current on their vaccinations and are not on a monthly flea treatment program. These policies protect your dogs and mine. ** I have experience administering oral medication to dogs and would be comfortable providing this service if required. Weekend Vacations: Your pup will be spoiled with near constant attention on their weekend vacations with us. If we need to run an errand they will never be left for longer than two hours at a time, and will always have their own safe and comfortable space away from our dogs if we need to leave the house. **This is done for every dog's safety. During the day we may take walks around the neighborhood walking paths, play in the backyard, run around the house playing fetch or take a more low-key relaxed approach and stay in and cuddle on the couch. Weekends are for playing, snuggling, and enjoying life to the fullest! Drop-in visit services are centered around your pet. For dogs: I will feed them, refill their water, take them for a leashed walk (if requested), let them run around your back yard (if it’s fenced), play with them, give them cuddles, and administer any oral medication that may be needed. For cats: I will feed them, refill their water, clean their litter box, play with them, give them cuddles, and administer oral medication as needed. I’m also more than happy to feed fish and/or water plants during a drop-in visit. Please ask about additional pets prior to booking. As a dog mom of two I understand how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members in the care of others. That’s why I do everything in my power to ease your worries while taking the best possible care of your pets.
Reviews
Lexi was an excellent sitter for my dog Oliver. She was extremely flexible with drop off and pickup times, despite the holiday, and made sure to send plenty of pictures and updates throughout the day. Oliver had such a great time with her and her pups and came home happy and healthy. Highly recommend.
Molly loves her visits to Lexis house! She gets to play with Lexis 2 puppies who are about her size and always comes home tired and happy. I still feel sad leaving Molly but I don’t feel guilty anymore. Im glad I found Lexi and recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter for their dog!!!!!
Lexi came highly recommended by a mutual friend and used to walk our dog Bruno before we moved. She even kept him overnight a few times when we were out of town and couldn’t bring him with us. She was always very sweet to our Bruno and made us feel very comfortable leaving him in her care.
Lexi has always been an animal lover. She’s responsible, caring and will give your pet 5-star treatment. If you need a reliable and safe home-away-from-home for your fur-baby, Lexi will welcome your pet with belly rubs and lots of love.
