I am a vegan animal lover to the core! I love all animals deeply and equally and will treat them as SOMEONE not something. Growing up with cats, dogs, and even caring for my neighbor's goats, animal care has been instilled in me from a very young age. Beyond growing up around all types of animals, I have over 10 years of professional experience caring for others' beloved pets. I am very confident in caring for your pet and its needs! I love to snuggle and belly rub cats, dogs, and anything else with (or without!) fur. I am quick to problem solve should an issue ever arise, and have the energy suited for the most hyper or the chillest of animals. Please let me love on and befriend your furry friends! You can expect compassion, professionalism, and enthusiasm from me and you can rest assured that I will take great care of your furry companions as if they were my children. Dog experience: -grooming/brushing -playing (with all energy levels) -going for walks, including with multiple dogs -puppies -awareness of behavioral characteristics/issues -food, water, and treats including fussy eating -medication (no IV unless I am taught how) Cat experience: -cutting nails -exercising/playing with toys -grooming/brushing -medication (no IV unless I am taught how) -emergency situations/vet visits -litter box cleaning -fussy eaters (i.e. we have to separate our cats when they eat) -snuggles and love!!

Lexi was hired to stay with our two boys all day. When she came over for a meet and greet weeks before the day, she was upfront about needing to leave for a few hours for a prior commitment. On the day she watched the boys, when the time came to leave and we were not home yet, she called to verify it was ok to leave. Unfortunately, we were at our daughter's wedding and we're not looking at our phones. When my husband arrived home, Lexi was still there. We appreciate her making sure the boys were taken care of, especially since one of them is older and needs extra TLC.
Lexi really treats our pups as if they are her own. She’s great with them and communicates with me throughout her stay. They were really relaxed when we got home — which is always a sign they were treated well.
Lexi was awesome. My animals are pretty picky when it comes to people, but they loved her the first time they met her and animals are a great judge of character. She gave me plenty of updates and picture. She was comfortable giving my pup his medicine which was important to me. All of my pets were super happy in update pics. I would definitely recommend Lexi and will use her again in the future.
Lexi is a very sweet and loving person ! She took great care of our princess kitty and bunny. She spent time with them and held them. I highly recommend her for taking care of your babies ! Your pet's wellbeing and safety is my number one priority while I am staying in your home. You can enjoy your time away worry-free knowing I will do what it takes to ensure all safety measures are being met. If your pets are allowed to roam leash free in your yard, I will always be outside keeping an eye on them. If not, I will make sure all doors remain closed and no one goes outside without a leash. Food and other chewables will be out of reach, everyone will be fed on time, fresh water will be changed out regularly, and medications will be administered at their proper time.

Any special needs, medication, rules about the house (no dogs/animals on the couches or beds, etc), if they are updated on their shots, if the house or animal as fleas, behavioral information (how they are around others dogs/animals, people, or children), etc.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on a hike in the CVNP, along the towpath, to its favorite dog park/beach, or just around your neighborhood. I will bring extra water, a towel, and doggy bags. During feeding, I will make sure they finish their food and that their water bowl is full. I will make sure your kitties finish their food, their water bowl is full, and that they are happy and well before I leave. If I am sitting overnight, I will play with your cats or dogs, groom them, and snuggle with them while you are away to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy.

Availability
Currently my schedule is fully open as I am exploring pet care as a full time avenue of income. I can be expected to be at your home all day if requested, and otherwise will be transparent about my daily schedule. I will always put caring for your pets first!
