I've always loved pets, but my favorite would have to be dogs. Dogs just have that special, loving , child like innocence that , well though it can't be explained, can be felt and understood between themselves and their owners. And being a pet owner, and a college student I feel that I can greatly understand this. I have enough energy and compassion, as well as patience, to take care of any pet and dogs are just the entire package. You can take them outside (unlike fish or indoor cats), go on long walks together, and just enjoy each others company, so pretty much it goes without saying that the saying is true, that Man is dog's best friend, and vice versa I deeply believe.
