Hi I’m Lettie & thank you for viewing my profile! I live on my little slice of heaven, 13 acres in beautiful Litchfield. I moved from city to country 2 years ago and am loving the slower pace of life. I’ve had dogs and cats, growing up and all my adult life (now in my early 40s). I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals while pet parents are away for work or vacation. During their stay, your pet will have no neighbors, access to my 13 acres and woods. I live on my own private road. I have a senior dog (a rescue) and a puppy and am comfortable administering meds and giving your pet plenty of activities during their stay. I have also used Rover for my dog while away.

My dog looks very happy under Leticia’s monitoring She lives in a wonderful little farm and she is an animal lover. Leticia sent me many pics of my dog during the stay, it was very sweet from her. Her dog got along very well with her dog. I highly recommend her.
Our 10-month-old rescue puppy, whom we left behind for the first time, had a wonderful stay with Leticia and her family. Endless walks in a bucolic setting, fun playtime with Hamish and Bravo, and gentle cuddles were all part of our pup's fulfilled vacation. Leticia was also great at sharing daily updates, photos, and videos. Thank you!!!

If you choose to leave your pet with me, I have 13 acres of free open meadows and fields, with 2 dogs to keep your pet company. Our dogs are crated each evening and I can provide the same for your pet. If your pet doesn’t like to be crated at night, I can accommodate that as well. I have baby gates so that senior dogs/puppies are safe on stairs. I Iive in a Dutch Colonial style home, with center stairs and the baby gate can be placed either the top or bottom of stairs. I am comfortable administering medications and vaccines. Your pet will get plenty of walks and have space to stretch their legs. If I am coming to your home, play time, walk time and feeding time will be provided tailored to your pet’s needs. All pets welcome!

A typical day
We love to take walks around our property, up and down our own private road and relax by the fire. If your pet likes hikes, we can accommodate that at nearby Topsmead or any other hiking areas nearby in our beautiful town. We are surrounded by the beauty of Litchfield County everywhere you look, with 5 acres of meadows at the back and 2 ponds.
