I have had several family pets of my own over the years, but I've also volunteered with local animal shelters like the VBSPCA and have experience working in veterinary medicine as a Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant for 3+ years. I love all animals and getting to interact with different ones all day. Consider this profile a family affair as my family will all take a part caring for your fur baby. My daughter especially who has grown up with me pet sitting for years and loves hanging out at the house, snuggling with them on the couch or going for long adventurous walks around the neighborhood as much as I do. I try to plan events/life around my pet sitting bookings as much as possible and I take my own puppy anywhere I can that I know he would be comfortable and I would do the same with any booking I have as well. Last minute plans , long trips early/late drop offs or pick ups ? I can accomadate that ! I take pet care very seriously because just like other people, pets are an extension of someones family that they have decided to trust you with caring for. I monitor any animals in my care closely and try to send frequent updates and pictures. With that being said I typically pet sit for one family at a time, only close my availaibility when fully booked and request at least 3 days notice for cancellation to attempt to offer availibility for others who may need quality care.
