Pet care experience
I’ve cared for pets my whole life, my own as well as family and friends. You can trust me with your fur babies the way my childhood cat Kitty trusted me with her fur babies (she tried to give birth on me, true story). In all seriousness I’ll treat your pet as my own and will update you throughout their time with me at an agreed upon cadence. Love all pets but i’m especially good with cats & dogs - I have experience bathing both (flea baths etc), and I live walking distance from 4 great parks for dog walking. I do have 1 cat so if you are a cat owner needing services, please be ready to confirm: - a negative FIV status of your cat & current vacine Dog owners needing services, please confirm that your furry little companion will not try and red rum my cat. If I could give over 5 stars, I would. Leslie stepped in 7 days before my trip when another sitter backed out. My dog had just had surgery and recovery was not going as planned. Leslie was able to stay with him the whole time, was excellent about giving him a bunch of medicine, and dealing with a dog unhappy to be in a cone! She checked in routinely and updated me about how my dog was doing! The peace of mind I had was amazing.
Leslie was very communicative and took great care of my dog. I’d book again any day
We couldn't be happier with Leslie! My elderly dog stayed over at her house and fell in love with her. She treated him with care and compassion, and it showed when he didn't want to leave her house. We will hire her again!

Please let me know in advance if your pet has a special diet or medical needs/ requirements that I need to be aware of. I do have 1 cat myself so it would be helpful to know if your pet is friendly with other animals so that I can make any necessary arrangements for their stay.
A typical day
My neighborhood is very walkable and very close to several parks for dog walking and fetch. I also have a fenced in back yard that would be great for play time as well.

Availability
I have a reasonably flexible work schedule and I work from home 4 days a week (I’m off all weekends). I already take 2 to 3 small walks a day to stretch my legs & get a break from my desk, so adding in a fury companion would be a welcome and easy adjustment.
