Pet care experience
I've been around dogs for much of my life, and got my own rescue pup in 2014. I love getting to know each dog's personality, and believe in a positive approach to interacting with animals. I am a very calm person, which helps dogs feel calm around me. I also understand that different dogs have different needs- not every dog is perfect, and that's ok! Just let me know ahead what your pup's particular needs are, and that way I can make sure your furbaby has the best experience possible.
Reviews
Leslie was amazing and I would definitely recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a pet sitter! She kept me up to date with Bella’s activities throughout the day and sent tons of pictures! She was very accommodating, she did a meet and greet with just her and then another with her dog! She was flexible when I had to change my plans and I appreciate her understanding the needs of my anxious pup! My anxiety about leaving Bella for the weekend was at ease knowing that Leslie was there. Leslie has a very calm energy about her and really helped my dog to settle in. Thank you for being an excellent sitter! Will definitely rebook in the future!
Excellent sitter
Leslie was excellent with Laila. She is a caring and careful dog sitter. She took her to the dog park and sent pictures abd up dates. We will certainly ask her again to dog sit for us!
Leslie is very accommodating to the unique needs of my dog. She is punctional and professional, providing my dog with the very best in care. Highly recommend!

Safety is paramount! When watching your pup, I will try to keep their regular schedule as much as possible when I can make it work around my schedule. Let me know how your pup is with strangers and other dogs, so that we can respect appropriate boundaries and keep everyone safe. I will not do things with your pup that you have not approved (such as going to the dog park). For house-sitting (overnight) requests, my pupper Rodeo will come with me for the stay, so we will arrange a meet-and-greet before booking to be sure its a good fit for everyone. Rodeo does best with small or medium dogs, so that's who I can house-sit. Rodeo doesn't enjoy being around very vocal dogs (particularly ones who bark at him to try to get him to play), so unfortunately, if that sounds like your fur-baby, it likely won't be a good fit. If your cat is ok with dogs, then we can house-sit your cat for you (Rodeo is comfortable with some cats but scared of most and keeps his distance). I will never leave Rodeo alone in your house with your pets when I'm not there. Rodeo will stay home for dog walks scheduled through Rover.
Information Leslie U. would like to know about your pet
As I mentioned, I don't expect all dogs to be perfect, but it is helpful to know about your dog's needs and quirks before having him/her over and to make sure we'll be a good match. For example, how does your dog do with new dogs and strangers? Does your dog enjoy off-leash time in a dog run? Does your pup have special dietary needs or restrictions? Does your pup get separation anxiety? Is your dog very vocal? I don't have extensive experience administering meds to dogs, but I am happy to make sure your dog gets the meds they need.
A typical day
If your dog likes to visit the dog park, we can go there. I will play with pups and take them on walks, and I will gladly send updates and photos of your pup's visit to keep your mind at ease.

Availability
I am a student and work part-time, so my schedule varies and I am out of the house a lot. I won't watch your pup if I'm not able to give the care s/he needs.
