Teacher❤️Home for well-loved dogs
Pet care experience
As a happy introvert and dedicated educator, I am always the go-to person among friends and colleagues when someone needs care for their little (and big!) fur babies. Dogs in my household are always safe and well-loved. ❤️ In my 17th year as an educator, I find that giving my nurturing "mom energy" to dogs in my home feeds my soul. MY HOME I am currently mom to one Boston Terrier who is loads of fun. She is 5 years old, still has tons of energy, and gets along great with other dogs. She is truly the happiest creature I've ever met, and just wants to play all day every day! SERVICES, HOURS, and NEW CLIENTS COVID-19 NOTE: I am fully vaccinated, and can accommodate check-in and check-out in the front yard or in my home, with or without masks, depending on your preferences. I am an early riser and can easily accommodate early morning drop-offs for weekend daycare and boarding all year. Please note: due to safety precautions, we are unable to accept same-day appointments for new clients who have never stayed with us prior to check-in day. INDIVIDUALIZED CARE I generally accept 1 booking at a time so your pet can get focused attention and love while you're away, however there may be overlap without warning due to my extremely liberal check-in and check-out times, and my daycare offerings. If it is your preference that I don't accept other dogs when your dogs are with me, I can almost always accommodate that if we talk about it before booking. To ensure there will not be overlap even without mentioning it, book for any night your dog may remain past noon. If your dog is nervous when it comes to other dogs and/or rambunctious play, please be sure to let me know before the meet and greet so we can plan accordingly.
Reviews
Koko had a great time with Junie and Leslie! We know she was well cared for and feels at home ❤ with them. Leslie kept us informed with texts, pictures and video.
Leslie took great care of my pup while we were out of town. I received daily photos and updates which helped relieve my anxieties about leaving him. Leslie was an amazing host, always responsive, and super accommodating and sweet with our boy. I highly recommend her and will definitely return in the future! :)
As always, Leslie is amazing! This is our 4th year booking w her. She’s a constant pleasure and so communicative. My husband and I have never felt so happy and comfortable with someone watching over our fur baby. 10/10 would recommend ❤️❤️❤️
Our Boston Terrier, Koko had a blast with Leslie and Junie. Leslie provided daily updates, pics and videos of play time as well as sleepy time. We really appreciate the wonderful in-home care and TLC. We will definitely board with Leslie again!!!

Junie and I live in a modest, non-smoking, single-family home with a fenced yard that is great for outdoor doggie playtime in a quiet neighborhood. I'm home most of the time when I'm not at school, so with Junie as my co-pilot, we'll give your fur baby lots of love and TLC when you can't. Is a crate your pup's happy place? Please feel free to bring it! Junie has graduated from hers and prefers to live a life unfettered, and we accept puppers with any preference.

Information Leslie S. would like to know about your pet
My goal is to find several lovable qualities about every dog, just like kids in my classroom! All breeds, sizes, and ages welcome.* See info on puppies below. We have found that well-socialized, playful, energetic dogs enjoy Junie's brand of fun the most, but if your dog(s) are anxious and can be calmed by routine and love (both human and canine variety) they'll do great, too! We've been called a Mary Poppins duo, as I'm a master snuggler and Junie uses her magical powers to coax even the most (parent-described) "grumpy" dogs into some playtime when they're with us. During a meet and greet I will assess/ask about several things: 1) energy level 2) sleep/furniture preferences 3) play style/toy preferences 4) possible triggers/anxieties 5) dietary restrictions/allergies Junie and I enjoy spending time with all dogs, and have no restrictions on breeds or size. Our clients range from 7-pound miniature Poodles to 100-lb Labs, and everything in between. Junie has never met a dog she didn't want to run and play with... all day, every day! [I have particular knowledge and insight in caring for brachycephalic breeds; I have been a Frenchie mom and a Boston mom so the common medical conditions of these dogs and the special precautions to take when caring for them are now second nature to me.] Doggie parents should know that I answer texts and calls all day, and I send updates as frequently as you would like, and with as much or little detail as you prefer. I send lots of pictures and videos, too (unless you tell me you'd like fewer)! I know what it's like to be away from your fur babies, and my goal is to make the process easy and comfortable for everyone. *PUPPIES* *Please note: Puppies who are under 6 months old and/or need frequent potty breaks do well in our home during weekends and holidays only. Puppies over 6 months of age who are crate trained and can reliably hold their bladder for over 8 hours do great in our home anytime (weekdays or weekends all year long).
A typical day
Specializing in: -Overnight Boarding (weekdays, weekends, and most holidays all year) -Weekend Daycare (potty breaks every 0-2 hours) -Drop-in care: 30 mins in your home (weekdays between 3pm-6pm; weekends between 7am-6pm) -Dog walking: 30 mins at your home/neighborhood (weekdays between 3pm-6pm; weekends 7am-6pm) Our favorite is when your playful dog comes to stay with us! S/he will be part of the family and given lots of love and TLC (both human and canine variety). S/he'll have exciting playtime/exercise with Junie Bee, the Boston Terrier (zoomies, mouth-jousting, and tug, oh my!), and s/he will enjoy downtime cuddling on the couch with us, or wherever s/he is comfy (Netflix and naps, anyone?). Approved treats and chew toys are offered at just the right times, with full (neurotic?) supervision; and fresh, cold water is available all day every day, inside and outside. Summer finds us in the backyard doggie pool, running through a sprinkler, or working on a frozen kong in the air conditioning. CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT HOURS: Weekdays: 6AM-7AM or 4PM-6PM Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): 7AM-6PM We're excited to play with your furry one, so click the button today and let's meet and greet!

I currently work full time in a local school district, so boarded doggies will play at home together on weekdays while I check on them via my home security webcam. They'll be treated just like I treat my own Junie. Most sleep all day while I'm working, and then they play (and snuggle with me) when I get home.
