Pet care experience
I am especially FUR you! I have been around and taken care of animals my whole life (over 40 years.) Most of my experience is with dogs and cats. My most recent job was at a large pet company. I had numerous responsibilities and I am able to multitask well. I lovingly cared for 12 dogs at a time. This included walking, feeding, cleaning, playing and socializing. I love opening up my home to make it your pet's home. Pets need a vacation too. A happy time makes a happy dog. Look forward to meeting you and your pet children.

This was Pumpkin’s second time with Leslie and she absolutely loves going to stay with her and Chris! Pumpkin has a great time and receives a lot of attention and affection from the both of them. Leslie sends pictures of Pumpkin throughout her stay which is very nice. There are always more than enough toys to play with and nice areas for walks and potty breaks. Our hearts are truly put at ease knowing we found an excellent, caring, dependable sitter for Pumpkin. Thank you Leslie and Chris!

Witnessed Leslie aggressively pull on another dog's leash to force him into her home (not her dog but another Rover stay). Dog was not wearing a harness but a collar and aggressive pulling could have led to injuries for dog. Leslie's home was in deplorable condition and she had clothes and trash on the floor nearly everywhere. There was one room that was clean and that was the room that I placed my dog into. I drove away and returned 15 minutes later to get my dog because I had an awful feeling that my dog was going to get the same treatment that the other dog received. I cannot recommend this stay and will pay triple next time to avoid this type of experience.
Clearly, Leslie and her partner are animal lovers and their calm demeanor was exactly what my 11-month old puppy needed. Next time I am looking for someone to take care of my dog, I will first check for their availability. It was easy to communicate with Leslie and she quickly responded to my questions.

I live in an apartment building that is especially pet friendly. There are several grassy areas where pets run and play. Inside my apartment, your pet has access to all of our rooms, except our bedroom. I love to cuddle on the couch and this quickly forms a nice bond with your pet. I am also in the process of converting one spare room into a complete pet fun zone.

Any allergies? -Is your pet afraid of thunder/lightning or other loud noises? Very important for me know. -Any other triggers? Vacuums etc? -What is your pet's current day and night routine? -Does your pet do well around other animals? -Does your pet have anxiety, vision or hearing issues, other medical issues? -Does your pet prefer instant cuddling or take some time to warm up? -How do you deal if your pet does the wrong thing? -How to you provide positive rewards? -What should I do in case of a medical emergency?
A typical day
Aside from lots of fun places at my home, there is also a park across the street where your pet can interact and play with other animals. If your dog doesn't do well with other animals, please let me know so I can avoid going there. I would also encourage you to provide me with your animal's favorite toys so my home feels like their home.,

Providing cuddles and care. Due to the pandemic I was laid off from my last job. I now see this as a wonderful new opportunity for me and for pet owners. I have a very flexible schedule and I am available 7 days a week. (If you need me to pick up your pet, I do require you to be close to public transportation.) You leave 'em, I love 'em.
