Pet care experience
Our Pet Care Experience: Geoff and I are experienced pet/house sitters who split our time between sitting and transportation. In 2022 Geoff and I started a small specialized pet transportation business. The personalized transportation we offer has given us an extensive amount of experience taking care of many animals of all kinds, sizes, ages and levels of health. Our experience ranges from 8 week old puppies and kittens, large/powerful dogs like Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands, senior cats and dogs with special needs, shy pets or pets with behavioral concerns, as well as everything in between. We have even been the caretakers of fish, a turtle, ducks and chickens. Since we spend so much time getting to know new pets we are adept at building trust and a friendship with the animals in our care. We are also certified in pet first aid and CPR through the American Red Cross, are registered with the USDA, have 24/7 access to on-call veterinary services, and are comfortable administering medications. Your pets' well-being is our top priority so we plan to send photo/video updates as often as you desire. In addition to pet care, we also have experience in plant and garden care as well. We have grown thriving herb and vegetable gardens in the past, as well as taken care of houseplants such as begonias, African violets, aloe, and succulents among others. Living in Vermont has given us plenty of practice with snow and ice removal. We offer snow and ice removal for decks, sidewalks, pathways, small driveways and patios. (Please provide the necessary shovels and pet safe salt) We do not shovel large/long driveways or roofs. Home Care Experience: Formerly, our personal experience has been taking care of our friends and neighbors' homes and boats while they were away on vacation. Our professional home care experience is much more extensive now and we have also been live-in, home, and property caretakers for an estate in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We are new to the Rover community but not pet/house sitting and we look forward to tending to your home and most of all, caring for your beloved pets. Thank you so much in advance for selecting us!

Leslie and Geoff were the most amazing sitters! They were the dream team, they took such good care of our animals and home and always kept in touch with daily updates and pictures. I'm not sure if anyone else will ever live up to these two!! When we first met them, they asked all the right questions, and we immediately knew our pets and home would be in great hands. Geoff and Leslie are exactly as the other reviews suggest- PERFECT SITTERS FOR YOUR PET AND HOME!! They took exceptional care of our dog and honored our wishes for her care; sent photos indicating the bond of comfort she made with them. They took beautiful care of our home and left it tidier and cleaner than they found it. They far surpassed my hope for the sit and set the bar super high. You would be lucky to have them! P.s We have already rebooked them for our summer vacation.
There are two words I would use to describe Leslie and Geoff- professional, and phenomenal. Their communication has been crystal clear from our first messages, and I knew from our initial video chat that my cat and my betta fish would be in capable and caring hands. It turns out that my hopes and expectations were actually exceeded. Leslie and Geoff sent daily updates and photos of both my animals (even my betta fish) which felt reassuring and compassionate. They left my house in perfectly pristine condition- I thoroughly clean my house anytime I go on a trip, and when I came home I wouldn't have even known anyone was in my home. They tidied up, took out my trash, washed my bedsheets and towels, replaced everything and double checked that my doors were locked before they left. They even left me a kind thank you note and a small personal gift whenever they departed, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch. What a delight it is to come home from traveling to find a clean, well-taken care of house. I would recommend these two to absolutely anyone, you would not be disappointed with their house sitting experience. Thank you Leslie and Geoff!
Leslie and Geoff were our dream come true pet sitters! They cared for and loved up our two kitties like they were family. Every day on our trip they connected with us with amazing photographs of Sprinkles and Mr Darcy. In fact the photos were so good we told them they should include pet photography into their offerings with their professional small pet transport business which they operate when not pet and house sitting through this site. We came back to a house that was immaculately clean. They said in their first email to us that they'd leave our home cleaner than they found it and they were certainly true to their word going above and beyond by washing and drying all the laundry and even putting new sheets on the bed for our return. Sprinkles needed a daily dose of medicine which they were more than happy to administer. If it's all about the details, you can rely on Leslie and Geoff to provide you with the care and conscientiousness that will give you so much peace of mind in knowing you have the crème de la crème looking after your home and pets.

We would ask what your preferences are beforehand in case of any injuries or special considerations. Fun activities for dogs would be: walks in the park, hikes in the woods, playing fetch in the yard or doggie park. Fun activities for cats would be: Entertaining them with a fishing rod toy, laser pointer or any toys they prefer. Lots of love and affection if they are in the mood as well as brushing upon request.

Our Care & Availability: Pet care is our full time job and we ONLY work with one clients pets at a time. We split our time between Pet/Home Sitting and Pet Transportation. We are dedicated solely to your pet and focus on quality over quantity. Geoff and I are experienced pet/home sitters and operate a small, specialized pet transportation business throughout New England and down the East Coast. Because we offer such personalized care and individualized transportation service, our clients do not require our services full time. This gives us time to offer our pet and home care services to you. Please see our calendar for availability. We have availability for any length of house/pet sitting as well as stop in for feeding, playtime and dog walking for our repeat clients. We are perfect for pet parents with multiple pets to ensure each pet has individualized care and attention.
