Pet care experience
Our Pet Care Experience: Geoff and I are experienced pet/house sitters who split our time between sitting and transportation. In 2022 Geoff and I started a small specialized pet transportation business. The personalized transportation we offer has given us an extensive amount of experience taking care of many animals of all kinds, sizes, ages and levels of health. Our experience ranges from 8 week old puppies and kittens, large/powerful dogs like Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands, senior cats and dogs with special needs, shy pets or pets with behavioral concerns, as well as everything in between. We have even been the caretakers of fish, a turtle, ducks and chickens. Since we spend so much time getting to know new pets we are adept at building trust and a friendship with the animals in our care. We are also certified in pet first aid and CPR through the American Red Cross, are registered with the USDA, have 24/7 access to on-call veterinary services, and are comfortable administering medications. Your pets' well-being is our top priority so we plan to send photo/video updates as often as you desire. In addition to pet care, we also have experience in plant and garden care as well. We have grown thriving herb and vegetable gardens in the past, as well as taken care of houseplants such as begonias, African violets, aloe, and succulents among others. Living in Vermont has given us plenty of practice with snow and ice removal. We offer snow and ice removal for decks, sidewalks, pathways, small driveways and patios. (Please provide the necessary shovels and pet safe salt) We do not shovel large/long driveways or roofs. Home Care Experience: Formerly, our personal experience has been taking care of our friends and neighbors' homes and boats while they were away on vacation. Our professional home care experience is much more extensive now and we have also been live-in, home, and property caretakers for an estate in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We are new to the Rover community but not pet/house sitting and we look forward to tending to your home and most of all, caring for your beloved pets. Thank you so much in advance for selecting us!

We are incredibly cautious and careful about who we trust with our naughty little chihuahua. Leslie and Geoff were nothing short of outstanding! They sent frequent updates and followed our requests perfectly! When we came home from our trip, our dog was looking for Geoff- his new best friend, apparently! We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our dog was being so well cared for. That kind of peace of mind is priceless and we cannot thank Leslie and Geoff enough!
Leslie and Geoff are phenomenal. Our pets were well-taken care of and treated like family. We received updates and pictures daily and we came home to a spotless home and happy pets. Pretty sure the dogs miss them and their attention. We would book them again in a heartbeat.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Leslie and Geoff. They are truly professionals, with deep expertise about (and passion for) animal care. Leslie and Geoff watched our two fairly high-energy huskies for a week while we traveled out of state. We are always a bit nervous leaving the pups as one has a bit of separation anxiety and the other a serious heart condition. Leslie and Geoff quickly put our anxieties at ease, taking the time to meet the pups and understand their routine, personalities, and medical needs before we left. While we were away, they sent multiple updates every day about how the pups were doing including pictures, video, and a quick summary about their afternoon/evening. Leslie and Geoff were also incredibly respectful of our home (I’m fairly certain our home was tidier than when we left!) The moment we walked in the door after our trip we were greeted by very happy, well-exercises/calm huskies and a spotless home. Again, we cannot say enough wonderful things about Leslie and Geoff and they will absolutely be our first call in the future!
Leslie and Geoff were the most amazing sitters! They were the dream team, they took such good care of our animals and home and always kept in touch with daily updates and pictures. I'm not sure if anyone else will ever live up to these two!! When we first met them, they asked all the right questions, and we immediately knew our pets and home would be in great hands. Count yourself lucky if you find them available and message them asap. They are the very best,10 plus stars!!!! A Typical Day with Us: We want to maintain your pets routine and schedule while you're away. We love to keep your pets active and engaged if that is your desire. We would ask what your preferences are beforehand in case of any injuries or special considerations. Fun activities for dogs would be: walks in the park, hikes in the woods, playing fetch in the yard or doggie park. Fun activities for cats would be: Entertaining them with a fishing rod toy, laser pointer or any toys they prefer. Lots of love and affection if they are in the mood as well as brushing upon request.

Availability
Our Care & Availability: Pet care is our full time job and we ONLY work with one clients pets at a time. We split our time between Pet/Home Sitting and Pet Transportation. We are dedicated solely to your pet and focus on quality over quantity. Geoff and I are experienced pet/home sitters and operate a small, specialized pet transportation business throughout New England and down the East Coast. Because we offer such personalized care and individualized transportation service, our clients do not require our services full time. This gives us time to offer our pet and home care services to you. Please see our calendar for availability. We have availability for any length of house/pet sitting as well as stop in for feeding, playtime and dog walking for our repeat clients. We are perfect for pet parents with multiple pets to ensure each pet has individualized care and attention.
