About me: I am a health/wellness professional and have also worked with animals my whole life. I have volunteered and fostered for various dog adoption organizations including GALT, SPCA, MARS, Mega Adoption Event. I am experienced with most dog breeds and dog behavior. I have always been passionate about animals and I treat every dog that I sit as if they were my own. I am very interactive and affectionate with them, and will provide any special care that they need so that they feel comfortable and at ease while you are gone. Why I love dog sitting: I enjoy providing the peace of mind for pet owners that they can travel, etc. without worrying about their dog while they are gone. I not only take great care of my dog guests, but I make sure they have a great, stress-free time while their owners are away. Meet my pets: I have a senior xoloitzcuintle (Mexican hairless) dog at home. He's my best friend so we do everything together. He mainly sleeps all day, but enjoys a good home too.

Leslie was fantastic; so you know, I gave her 5 stars. She sent regular updates via text about my dogs. She incorporated them into her life and did a great job. Clearly they were happy to see me when I got home, but just as evidently they had enjoyed their time with Leslie. If I could give 10 stars, I would!! First time my husband and I have left our aging boy with anyone outside of family members. A concrete pen, alone 99% of the time, with several other dogs barking in utter chaos, was NOT an option for us. Leslie is very knowledgeable about dogs and that alone left us at ease. But even more importantly is that Leslie took our guy into her home as one of her own. We even received pictures while he was there and Leslie replied quickly to texts! She has the perfect place....beautiful home and large fenced in yard. WE highly, HIGHLY recommend Leslie to care for your fur babies!

Duke and I loved Leslie! She was super sweet and made me feel at ease since this was our first Rover experience. She was very professional and prepared. The cute pics of my baby while I was away reinforced to me that Duke was in good hands! He was instantly comfortable with her and made himself right at home! I will definitely recommend Leslie and will use her services again!

I keep a very calm, stable environment for my pet guests. I have a lot of nature nearby, so there is plenty to explore whether it's the river front, hiking trails, dog park, or nearby Greenway.

I love dogs of all kinds and sizes, but I prefer laid back dogs that like to nap.as much as they like to play. I've been a foster mom since 2004, so I have experience with most breeds and temperaments. I love learning about dogs and dog behavior.
A typical day
Daily walks: I believe that all dogs need a daily walk to stay healthy and release energy, so I include a free daily walk in my sitting fee. Plus, they'll have plenty of room to romp, play fetch, and explore. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: I have multiple dog beds and pet blankets available, or your dog can bring his/her own bed. I also have a crate with blankets on top if your dog prefers more of a den environment. Time I'll spend with your dog: I'm home all day
