Hi! I'm Leslie. I'm 49 years old and have had pets my entire life. I was previously a full-time Rover sitter for 1.5 yrs, and I'm ready to check on your fur babies again! I specialize in cats but love dogs, too. My husband and I are big animal lovers and parents to one little girl dog, Poppy, and the four sweetest kitties in the world, Gustav, Chloe, Toki and Veikki! We also love traveling, and know how important it is to have someone attentive and reliable to look after our babies when we're away. I love playing with dogs and cats, and have experience giving medicines to both. I monitor your animals closely, and won't hesitate to call you and take them to the vet for emergencies. I once saved the life of a client's cat when I noticed he was straining to urinate, and rushed him to the vet. I treat your babies the way I'd want you to treat mine! I have volunteered for local animal shelters on adoption days, and have had foster kittens. I'm also happy to check on your birds, reptiles, rodents, pigs, tarantulas, and fish! I pay close attention to my client's instructions and their pets' specific needs. If a pet likes to snuggle quietly, I will sit and read with them on my lap (after feedings and litter box scoops). If they like to play, I will get out their favorite toys and play as long as they want! If they prefer to be left alone, I check them to make sure they're healthy and happy, then sit quietly away to give them space. For dogs, I will play with them in the yard or take them for a quick walk; whatever the client (and dog) prefers.
