I have had dogs of all sizes all my life. As an adult I have owned small dogs. I also volunteer for a local rescue and have fostered dogs for the last 10 years. I have experience with senior dogs and dogs with disabilities and health issues.

Leslie is fantastic. She is calm and friendly and has a natural way of connecting with our dogs. Her home set up was nothing short of fantastic. She has thoughtfully prepared her home to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs in her care. Her beautiful backyard, cozy spots for napping and doggie safety gates made for a wonderful stay for our dogs. I have a secure fenced back yard. I have two small dogs who are very accustomed to foster dogs coming and going that are very dog friendly. I live in a quiet neighborhood which is ideal for walks during the day.

I need to know the dogs weight as I'm only able to take small dogs up to about 20 lbs. I need to know if they are housebroken so I can take extra care for the seniors or the ones that have special needs and can't make it outside. Any dog aggression or resource guarding should be reported so I can take precautions for those behaviors. Of course, any medical issues, or medication needs.
A typical day
We go on short walks a few times a day for mental stimulation and physical exercise. There is a small park near my house, the dogs must remain on leash but we can walk on the trail in the shade and they can be on the grass. There are lots of dogs toys suitable for small dogs and a large back yard for exploring and sunbathing.

I work from home and so I am available to supervise and care for the dogs all day. Working from home allows me to give attention and supervision at all times.
