I have an infectious canine-like enthusiasm for, um, canines. They adore me because it’s strangely obvious to them that I’m actually a puppy trapped in a grown woman’s body. i know it sounds weird but trust me. Your dog will get it immediately and will adore me as such. I’ve hiked, run, walked, snuggled, swum, and fished with dogs since I was a kid. Don’t have one of my own at the moment (no yard) and I am simply craving the camaraderie. I’m wicked smart and can keep your dog engaged, entertained, and eventually exhausted until you get home. I’m a long distance runner and a backpacker so I promise your dog will get tired if you want him/her to. And I can really throw.

We cannot speak highly enough of Lesley. Our little guy is very nervous and doesn't do well with new people or situations. She took the time to let him get comfortable and over several visits has earned his trust. Lesley is great about keeping our dog active and is a wonderful house guest.
Lesley loves dogs. All dogs. She's a tireless dog walker, dog runner, dog attention occupier, dog playmate and friend. She's pretty good with people too.

No dogs that habitually and unpredictably bite or lunge at strangers. No dogs that are truly horrible on a leash (yank, pull so hard as to be almost unmanageable). All breeds fine if your dog is relatively well-behaved and non-aggressive.
A typical day
Hiking and swimming at 1,000 acre off leash dog park if your pooch is interested. Running trails in forest park, mount Tabor, or in the gorge. We will play fetch in the park until your dog grows tired of it. We will learn acrobatic tricks and jumps off of rocks (again, only if your dog is into that sort of thing. No pressure). We will stroll and nap and eat treats and lay in the sunshine covered grass.
