Pet sitting God and you would love.

Pet care experience

First off I have something important to tell you before I introduce myself to you. Unfortunately, I cannot work with dogs/cats who need topical flea medication (drops/creams). This is due to an allergy so no exceptions. I do put the dogs in a crate when I am not home, this is because I am currently in school/work. Now that's over with, I am a Christian pet sitter and this is one of my favorite scriptures. This is how I believe God wants me to treat animals, this scripture from the bible touches me. Proverbs 12:10 “The righteous care for the needs of their animals…” I feel inspired to fulfill this scripture. With this in mind, I have chosen this line of work as my career path. Second let me tell you about my dog. She is a playful and loveable sweetheart. As the some time, she is very vocal and barks a lot when your pet come though my home door. She is just saying hello. The conditions below ensure that your pet stay will have the best outcome possible: PLEASE READ THE BELOW CONDITIONS. > Per Rover guidelines dog must be picked up before the 24 hour mark. If a dog stays over this time rover will charge an extra $15. I , Leslee sue cowling will maive this fee if times do not follow my schedule. >Must get along with other dogs. For this reason if your dog is planning to stay for two weeks or longer you must go through a three day complimentary stay to ensure for and my dog safety. > Dogs must have enough food. Please bring extra. I will give the extra food back when you pick up your dog. > Dogs must be okay to be in a crate > I will take large dogs, however, I prefer them no to be high energy and leash trained because of my back. Please reach out to me if this will be an issue. > I do not take cats in my home but am willing to drop in and check in on them at your home > I do not take any dogs under 8 weeks old. > I do not take pit bulls. > I can only travel to Antelope, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Elverta, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova, Rio Linda, and Sacramento. > Dogs must be house-trained, or puppy-pad-trained. > All medications must be placed in Ziploc bags labeled appropriately. Please separate morning and evening doses into AM and PM bags. > I will bring my dog, Gorgeous, with me if staying at your home. She is dog-friendly and house-trained. > I prefer to book a week ahead of time, so we can do a meet and greet to ensure the dogs will get along and be comfortable. If by chance they do not meet and greet and happen to not get along, I will alternate crating the dogs so they get equal time to run free and play. Crating is my last resort. > No retractable leashes. I have leashes so no need to bring your own. > When you arrive I will have you review the Day Care contract and fill out papers about your animal. HOURS, AVAILABILITY, AND PRICE: > My hours are 8:30 am-8:30 pm to pick up and drop off your dog. Just like a professional boarding place like Dog Topia and Camp Bow Wow this is no-negotiable. > I’m always available to answer the phone and messages excluding Wednesday 7:00 PM-9:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM-11:30 AM. > If you don’t reach me the first time you call, please hang up and call again right away. If you call back and I do not answer a second time, please leave a message and I will call you back ASAP. > I will go to your house if I am overbooked for a drop-in visit at $15 per visit. I also do cats for drop-in visits. Overnight visits at your home are $31 per night per pet. ABOUT ME AND MY HOME: I have spent most of my life learning and caring for animals. Previously, I worked in groomer shops, PetSmart, and at the Chula Vista, CA Animal Shelter. I currently volunteer at the SPCA. My dream job would have been to become a Veterinarian. Unfortunately, due to my disability, I found out I would not be able to fulfill that dream. The way I see it, God had other plans for me! Now all I want to be is a dog sitter! I’m comfortable taking care of all ages of dogs with varying needs. I have pet steps, a dog stroller, and a lot of TLC for them! I am also comfortable providing house training if needed. In the past, I worked with a dog named Precious. She had some socialization and trust issues due to her abandonment. When I got her, she was frightened of kids. After two weeks she could have a school full of kids chase her around and she was having fun with it. I taught her that not all humans are bad. I have one dog of my own, Gorgeous. Gorgeous is an older and playful Dachshund. She is my special needs/tripod baby. She loves everyone and that includes other dogs. Every doggy that comes through my door is a potential new friend for her. She loves having doggy friends spend the night but asks that they are just as friendly as her. A little bit about my home. I have a fenced yard and the ability to crate dogs. I would only crate your animal if I am out of the house. Please only bring the necessary items. I have crates, blankets, dog beds, bowls, and toys available. I have a hard time keeping track of other's items due to my busy schedule, so it would be best to keep personal items to a minimum. PLEASE NOTE: I have the right to refuse service for any reason. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to meeting you and your precious pet!

Leslee did a good job of looking after my Turbo. I appreciate that she sent pictures and also that she rearranged her schedule so that he would not be left alone.

We have an older and blind dog who stayed with Leslee. She did a wonderful job and he was very comfortable with her. She sent us pictures daily which gave us peace of mind while having to leave him. Will use her again.
