Pet care experience
Having been a dog owner for four years now, I have formed a very close bond with Nova who I have had since 9 weeks old. She is well trained, good with other animals and regularly enjoys accompanying me on adventures around the country. This has included hiking, camping and weekend excursions to name but a few. Nova was spayed last year after deciding we did not wish to breed, but is always happy to have companions join us on our walks.

It was the first time we left Lisa with someone she didn't know, so we were a bit nervous. Turns out we had nothing to be worried about: Lisa had the BEST time with Lesh and his family. She got along really well with their dog Nova and got lots of cuddles. Lesh kept us updated every day with photos of her. Next time we need a sitter, we will definitely be contacting Lesh again. I have a large, fenced off garden with plenty of room for running around and playing fetch. My own home is large enough to accommodate other dogs who I'm sure would make great playmates for Nova.

A typical day
I enjoy playing in the garden with my dog throughout the working day and taking her on regular walks, usually once in the morning and once in the evening. There is a great canal walk in my local neighbourhood as well as a large water sports centre only 5 minute drive away. Regular adventure walks are a must for my dog, who loves to be around other people and animals.

Availability
I work full-time from home and my hours are extremely flexible. I usually take my dog for a walk first thing in the morning before work and in the afternoon for a longer stroll in my local neighbourhood, which has plenty of scenic trails. Nova is highly intelligent and receives plenty of stimulation through games and activities, which I believe is extremely important.
