Pet care experience
I am loyal, trustworthy and obedient. I also come when called. Oh, wait, that is a dog. Well we wished they were all that way! I offer sitting in your home so the dog is not more stressed by being taken out of its environment. I have given medication to both dogs and cats and have worked with animals with food issues. I love to take pics and or videos to send you, if you wish. It is fun to watch how different dogs react. I alway make certain dog is leashed if I take them out and if there is a dog who tries to make a run out the door, not going to happen. I'm pretty big and know they might try so I am acutely aware.
Reviews
Lesa took great care of our little Bailey. He has special needs regarding his food and Lesa easily handled that. I was very comfortable with her staying at our house and would definitely book with Lesa again!
I actually booked Lesa to check on my cats during an extended vacation. It was very affordable and took away the stress of worrying if they had enough food/water. Would def book again! Thanks!
Though I am currently a cat owner, I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Lesa G. Because we had to leave early for our trip, Lesa graciously agreed to drive for two hours to come to my house to meet us a few days before we left and to see what her responsibilities would be during her stay in our home. We very much appreciated her consideration as well as her friendly demeanor. My cat, Bandit, is extremely shy and fearful, but Lesa made the effort to gain his trust and interact with him during her stay. It is obvious she is an animal lover, and she will take great care of your pet as well as your home. When we returned home, our place was clean and orderly. We have kept in touch with her, and I hope she will stay with Bandit again. She is reliable, honest, and conscientious. We were very pleased with Lesa's care of our home and cat.

I prefer your home as I’m in a Senior apartment without a fenced yard. I kennel my dogs at night and if I leave the house. I’m aware of dogs and cats wanting to dart out the door and will take precautions to prevent this.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered. No aggressive dogs, no matter what breed. I am more scared of a mean Chihuahua than a mean large dog! Written instructions and convenient telephone numbers are a must. I have enjoyed several senior dogs, ranging in age from 14 to 18! I have had large and small dogs. I am have experience sitting an epileptic Shepherd along with his 18 year old sister and 3 year old brother so they all require different diets and he got medication twice a day. I can live with dog hair. I have also sat a turtle and a gecko and cats and will consider most pets.
A typical day
I am a homebody and do not go out a lot. Perhaps to the grocery store or occasionally to eat. My main focus is the dog (or cat). After working on an ambulance for 21 years in Kansas City, Missouri, I have had all the excitement my body can stand. LOL.I consider my hobbies to be wifi and television! I like having a dog or cat at my feet or on my lap or just being comfortable in whatever it wants to do in its home. I can throw a slobbery ball with the best of them. If they allow brushing, I will do that. I have been sitting since February, 2015 and so far have been in the Seattle area several times, Vancouver, WA; Anchorage, Alaska for 5 weeks and Ontario, Canada for a month with 3 dogs and a small furry critter...gerbil, hamster...I always get them confused. I have done a 3 week cat sit in upstate NY, and another 5 miles from the Canadian border in Washington with a dog with medical needs. My home town is Kansas City, MO. I was in the Seattle area since December 2014, when I brought some dogs to a rescue. Moved back to KC summer of 2023. I have a van and even have kennels, if you need me to transport your dog and are more comfortable with it safely in a kennel.

I’m retired and like staying close to home…mine or yours. I have 2 13 year old pugs who rarely bark and prefer to sleep rather than play. They e done several pet sits with me. They are non-reactive to cats. They act cat like.
