Pet care experience
Recent college grad, had a dog walking/sitting business over at Bowdoin College. I have references that will vouch for me. I love dogs, never had one as a kid so I decided to take care of them and train them. I have house broken puppies and even trained aggressive rescue dogs. I will treat you child ( lets be honest you see them as kids) like my own. Im very active, your dogs will love there time with me. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs all my life. Unfortunately my younger brother had severe asthma and we could't have a dog while living in NYC. But once in Maine i decided to get involved in any way possible. Volunteering in the local rescue center and starting my own dog sitting and dog walking business. Now I am trying to save up to get my own puppy! About my yard I do have a patio area and they will have access to it on a long leash. So while they are out there they are safe so no worries. My experience administering medication I have taken care of all kinds of dogs. From when they are curious little puppies to when they have lived their years and now require a bit of extra care. So I have administered medication and like to think of ways making what is sometimes and uncomfortable situation a more enjoyable one.

Leo was great! He was very prompt in response to my booking and came to our house to meet Chewie before his stay. Chewie loved him! Leo sent us pictures of Chewie throughout the weekend so we knew he was in good hands. He was very knowledgeable and even gave us some advice for improving Chewie's behavior during walks (he likes to bark at other dogs). I would definitely book with Leo again.
Leo is amazing! We had him walk our dog for over a year. Our dog had some issue with aggression and other dogs, but his time with Leo actually calmed him significantly. Leo is patient and attentive, on time, and just a great dog. Loves dogs and dogs love him. We only stopped using Leo because he moved out of state.
Leo walked my dog Max for three years in total, and periodically took care of him for extended periods when I was out of town. He was tremendous: caring of my dog, reliable and a really good person to work with. Max loves him, and is really well-behaved when around him. I would very highly recommend Leo to anyone who wants top-quality care for their dogs.
Leo is an outstanding dog sitter! He cared deeply about the health and well-being of our dog, making sure she had just what she needed. Leo stayed at our house to take care of Corey sometimes for over a week and we never worried about her at all. As she has started to age, Leo was mindful of her ability. I've known Leo for several years, as a student working with me at Bowdoin College and as a house and dog-sitter and I can say it is a real pleasure to work with him. He is extremely reliable, prompt, personable and caring. You and your dog will be very happy to find Leo! We miss him already!

All breeds are unique, and all dogs have unique personalities. While I love large dogs I worry my apt isn't big enough for for them to be comfortable. But one thing I will push for anyone is to meet the pup in a comfortable environment with the owner. This is key because when they come and stay with you, they will have smelled you and the home they will be spending the weekend with and in, it won't be as strange for them which means a happier and much less stressful visit. .
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Every walk is an adventure! I live in a really nice street so the runs are beautiful. Dog parks will be a must and maybe a nature hike if the weather agrees with us. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Right next to my bed! Or in my bed, or where ever is most comfortable! Time I'll spend with your dog When I have a dog visitor they become a part of my day. Im a very active person so runs throughout the day and exercises will keep us both busy. I also like to give a minimum of four walks a day. Your dog isn't a task for me on the weekend. They are a companion that I am lucky to have with me.
