Pet care experience
I've taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 13. I've volunteered at now three different animal shelters over the years, socializing cats and dogs, exercising/walking dogs in all kinds of weather and helping out with feeding. I currently volunteer at a shelter in State College 2x a week, and have come across dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I spend my time there walking and playing with them, as well as administering oral medication if necessary. But before I could volunteer, I was always an animal lover and pet sitting my neighbors' cat, walking my neighbors' dog, etc. When my sister got a puppy, I petsit him when he was just under 3 months old! I love animals of all kinds and can't wait to meet your pet/s!

Leora took great care of my 2 needy (and picky) kitties! She was very communicative and sent pictures and helpful updates with each visit. She helped us feel at ease on our trip knowing that our kitties were being taken care of super well! I highly recommend her!
Leora was the first person I trusted to dogsit my brand new puppy. He was 9 weeks old at the time, and she did a great job getting him out of the house and entertaining him without risking parvo exposure. That was a much-needed respite for a new, single puppy parent. I got a happy, exhausted puppy back at the end of the visit.

I'm comfortable with whatever the owner is comfortable with! I currently live in a dorm, but I would be able to come to the owner's home, make the environment as safe and comforting as possible for both the client and the pets. I love spending time with animals and will help with whatever you need! I can send multiple pictures, text updates, etc. I understand it can be stressful to be away from your pet so my goal is to make it smooth and enjoyable.

Any behaviors or specific needs that's a necessity to your pet. If they don't like certain sounds, things, etc. And if we are going on a walk, it's good to know whether they like other dogs and how well (or not well) they walk on a leash. Any information I'm given is great, do not worry if you think it's 'too much'. The more I know, the better! Would love to make them (and you) as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
For my drop-in visits I am happy to play with your pet if they want! I will play fetch, tug of war, belly rubs, anything to make you and your pet happy:) I will gladly take your dog on a short or long walk, and will keep going if your pup loves to walk, or I will happily let them sniff and stop as much as they want.

I'm a college student, so the weekdays I would need to discuss more in details with the owner, but depending on your needs we could figure it out! I also have free time on the weekends.
