Pet care experience
Hello! I am a lifetime pet lover and pet parent to two rescue dogs and one very sweet cat. I love all animals, big and small! My dogs happen to be large German Shepherd and Pit Bull mixes. So I know I can handle the big pups! I am a psychotherapist and I work from home about 50% of the time, so I’ll be able to accommodate frequent potty breaks.

I did not get to meet Leora personally due to the weather and short notice of the booking but she was communicative at every step and asked questions about the directions I left to ensure my cats were taken care of.
Leora stayed at our house for a week to watch our dog while we were out of town and she was amazing! She provided regular updates and took great care of our dog - even including taking her to the vet and taking great care of her when she was sick. Our house was very tidy when we got home and our dog was happy! Thanks, Leora!

Leora is an absolute animal lover! She is so kind and loving around animals, especially dogs, and you can tell that she thrives by spending time with them. I would absolutely trust her to take excellent care of my dog. I know she makes caring for her dog, Jordie, a top priority in her life!

If your dogs are in my home, I will listen to your opinions about how and how much exercise they need, what will make them most comfortable, and their feeding/potty schedule. I do have a partner who often stays with me during visits, so please be aware of that and let me know if you have concerns.

A typical day
I live near bike trails and dog parks (Warner Park is my favorite for doggos who like to swim!). The capitol city lake loop is nearby and one of my favorites!

Availability
I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll be able to be actively engaging with your pets fully outside of about 4 hours per weekday. I work from home, so it’s easy to take a walk or a drive to the dog park if your pup is high energy. For older or calmer dogs and/or cats, I make good company!
