Pet care experience
I grew up with cats at home and also had a skill for finding all the strays when on holidays who I would have to take under my wing. I have volunteered at shelters since I was 18. Neighbours and friends have relied on me to take care of their cats and dogs when they have been away. I have specific knowledge on senior dogs. My own dog was a 12 and 3/4 year old Frenchie when he passed last year. He had many health issues over the years and dementia in the final two years so I have experience of giving medication as well as giving extra love and care. I am available full time to care for your dog. We have walks on the South Downs and the beach front on our doorstep. I have a car and we can drive to any other scenic point your dog likes too :-) Your pet will be my priority while he/ she is in my care. We have a fenced garden and dogs can roam freely and safely. In the house, dogs are allowed to explore and feel at home. There are no rules here and dogs are allowed on the furniture too. I have plenty of time to give your pooch lots of love and attention. Our dog was allowed everywhere in the house and yours will be too. We have a fenced garden with grass and pebbles. Our garden has shade with our umbrellas and a mat too. Weather permitting the doors are always open and they are free to roam.

Leonora was absolutely fantastic all throughout the booking. We arranged a meet & greet which was great for everyone and our Boxer Skye. Leonora was on time, communicated well and was lovely. She took on all our wishes, calmly and respectfully looked after Skye and our home. We would not hesitate to have her back again in the future!
Leonora ensured she had met Celine before taking her for the night which was very appreciated. She is very reliable and even dropped Celine off for us the next day! Celine enjoyed her stay & was treated like a princess ?, I would definitely use Leonora again in the future.
Leonora was absolutely excellent! She looked after our dog Huxley with so much love and care that when we returned after a fortnight’s holiday we could see that he had a holiday being at home also! Our home was left immaculately and Huxley was so happy Thank you Leonora and we(and Huxley!)can’t wait until the next time.

As mentioned we have a fenced garden. Dogs are free to roam and play out there. If I am visiting your home, I will be sure to learn your pet’s preferences and needs and act according to those. A home visit is not something to be ticked off and completed. I will visit your cat and sit with them as well as ensure their areas are cleaned and prepared for them.

I would need to know their normal routines at home, their quirks and what they require to make them happy. I will be able to provide them with all the love they need while they are with me and waiting to return home to you. Ideally, a stay with us would be one or two nights. This works as a trial and a get to know each other. We will also have a meet and greet first.
A typical day
We are blessed here with access to the South Downs and the beach both within five minutes from the house. We can also drive to some walking spots like Seaford beach, Seaford head, Rottingdean windmill and so on. If your dog doesn’t like walking so much (mine has lazy days too) we can all be together at home and in the garden. The key point is that I would be with your pooch all the time and they would not be alone.

My schedule is open and I work on projects at home at the moment so your pet will be my priority. They will received all the attention they deserve until they can be reunited with you again.
