I worked for a vet in HS and a zoo in college. Now I manage a nature preserve and love on pets in my spare time. I have two dogs of my own and a pet snake. I also love cats and farm animals!

Leoncia is one of the most responsible people I know, and she truly adores dogs and recognizes their individual characters. She has treated my dog with such care and attention that I'm not stressed even for a moment that he's doing okay while I'm away. She has also worked as a vet tech and at a doggie daycare, so she really gets the species-specific needs of dogs. I consider her my dog's godmother!

I have two small dogs. One LOVES to play with other dogs, and the other keeps her space. Typically when I leave the house I will keep my dogs separate from guest dogs by putting one or the other in a spare bedroom.
A typical day
I can try to closely match your pup’s schedule, but my dogs go outside around 7am and eat breakfast shortly after. Typically after one more potty break I run any errands or do any work that needs done outside the home from 8-12. Normally I come home around lunch and let the dogs out for potty and play. They rest inside while I finish some work on my computer. They ask to go in and out as they please and eat dinner around 6-7pm. Usually our last potty break of the day is around 9-10pm

My schedule at the preserve is very flexible and I am rarely tied up for more that 4-5 hrs at a time, and much of my office work can be done from anywhere!
