Pet care experience
I grew up in DR with Rottweilers who were literally my siblings. I learned how loyal & truly caring our pups really are from them. We also had turtles and a huge cage with 50+ parakeets! I moved to NYC in 2006 & when i turned 18, my partner Jon and I adopted a cat, Milo. He walked into our NYC apartment after following me up the block. Milo was the naughtiest, funniest & most loyal cat ever. We shared a good 3-4 years together before we moved to VA. We have now been in VA for about 4 years. During the last 4 years, my friends, family & clients have relied on me to pet sit their babies as my own. I love being able to be surrounded by animals. It reminds me of being back home in DR (specially now that i live in VA i see so much more), it’s an instant mood booster & you learn so much! I’ve taken care of kittens, cats & small-large dogs including bathing, feeding, walking, lots of play time, treats & cuddles. I’m happy to clean up, organize, take out your trash & bring in mail while I house sit. Feel free to let me know if you need anything else!

Leonarda and Jon were absolutely amazing with our four pups! We had to go out of town for 48hrs and Leonarda stayed with them the entire time. She stayed in touch with us and sent pictures throughout our time away and made our whole experience easy and stress free. Highly recommend her especially if you have needy pups like ours!

Leonarda and her partner, Jon, were absolutely wonderful with Molly while we were out of the country. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We certainly will be using them again in the near future. Leonarda sent multiple updates every day with photographs that showed Molly being spoiled and well cared for. Leonarda and Jon were very respectful of our home, as well. Their care of Molly made our last minute travel abroad less stressful, and for that, we are very thankful.

I will be caring for your babies as if they were my own, loved & wanted. They are my main focus & priority so I may spoil them a little too much with cuddles & treats, i’m a sucker🤣 With your permission, i usually boil plain chicken breast to add to the pups food & they love it! Or i’lll have freeze dried treats. Let me know if there’s anything in specific you’d like me to do or if you have a routine that you’d like me to follow. I’m usually pretty high energy & go on hikes, walks but If your dog prefers to relax, I’m ok with cuddling up, taking it easy and watching tv! I cater to each pup’s individual needs.

A typical day
With me you can expect your pets to go on multiple walks by neighborhood trails & lots of cuddles! We can play catch & tug of war. I will personally cater to each dog’s needs, high or low energy as long as everyone’s safe and happy!
