As a proud cat parent (of a 10 year old named Khaleesi) and lover of all pets, it would be my honor and pleasure to care for yours when you need it most. If you're looking for someone who takes pride in leaving a pet better than when they met them, who is both detail and solutions oriented, and who has years of crisis management training, you've found the right sitter! No ask is too big and no pet is too small. I grew up living with cats in the home + next to Golden Retrievers, have a fondness for Bernese Mountain Dogs and Pit Bulls, and have facilitated emotional support programming between my students and therapy dogs. Administering your pet’s daily medication or providing extra patience for your senior pup is no problem; it’s an honor to go at your pet’s pace. Unfortunately we did not have a great visit with Leo this stay. We have used him once before and it went well but this stay did not follow the same path. He was not proactive with his messages during the stay. I had to check in with him once he got there, photos were only sent after requested, and he ended up ghosting me on the last day of our reservation. Our dogs were very stressed out when we got home and we found two of their beds soaked in urine from the weekend. Granted, one of dogs does have anxiety that requires medication and I left Leo clear instructions for her care. However, it seems as though the dogs were an after thought this weekend. Our dog with the anxiety ripped up her bed when she was put in her cage and Leo did not clean it up and then put her in the cage with the torn up and urinated on bed for us to come home to. Additionally, Leo brought a guest with him this weekend and didn’t notify us or clear it with us prior to the reservation. Had he asked, we would have been fine with it. However, it seems odd he was sneaking them around only bringing them in through the back door and never addressing them in any of our messages. It seems like this weekend was more of a vacation for them and less focused on taking care of the dogs. I had two more visits planned with Leo on our white board and he erased his name from the white board and has not responded to any of my messages asking him why. Based on this experience, we won’t be using him in the future.
Leo makes my cats so relaxed and they are so chill when I get home. I am very appreciative of his care - it makes a huge difference!

I spoil my own pet with affection and yours will receive similar care! As a guest in your family’s home, I like to bring as relaxed a vibe as possible with my jazzy lo-fi tunes and plenty of time outside (as weather permits).

Does your pet require medication or vitamin administration? Does your pet have any dietary restrictions or special needs? Are there any triggers (other animals, pedestrians, weather, etc.) that your pet has? In what ways are they reactive? Does your pet have the tendency to bolt out the door or run away? What are your most used commands?
A typical day
For cats, I love indulging their lap cat tendencies with plenty of treats, head scritches, and belly rubs (if that's what they like). For dogs, I'd love to walk with them around the block, through parks, on trails, to a local body of water, and any low-traffic commercial areas. We could play fetch or frisbee, dance, enjoy a dog bakery, sit & read on the beach, make a child laugh, etc.

Availability
I WFH + in tech, and would be honored to have your pet as my temporary coworker! Your pet will never be left alone for more than 3 hours during my stay and will be kept plenty distracted with affection until your return. Looking forward to sending you daily photos and updates of all the fun activities your precious pet and I engaged in while you are away!
