Pet care experience
I've always been eager to care for friends' and family's pets when they need it. Over the past 5 years, I've cared for big dogs, small dogs, special needs dogs, and raised 2 kittens of my own. I am confident in my abilities to read each pet's individual needs and be a calm, safe presence for them.

Great experience with Leo! He house sat for my two dogs for 8 days. The dogs loved him and he took great care of them. Came home to a clean apartment and happy pups! Definitely would recommend if you are looking for someone trustworthy, responsible and caring.

I'm experienced with positive reinforcement training for dogs that may be resistant to commands. Medication administration is also something I can handle appropriately and gently. My approach is love and praise centered in order to ensure my pets are happy and feel safe even in the absence of their humans.

Please don't hesitate to disclose any special needs your pet may have! I am flexible and adaptable, so however your fur baby lives, I'm eager to please. Dogs and cats alike, are VERY reliant on routine and consistency, which is very important to me as their stand-in caretaker. I approach my work with the intent to relieve as much of the stress of a new human as possible, and distract them from how much they will be missing their beloved human. To maintain their happiness until my work is finished is my primary goal!
A typical day
I pride myself in recognizing a dog's style of play. Be it tug of war, fetch, or simply cuddles, your dog will be more than comfortable and very happy. I prefer to get on their level; animals, like us, like to feel seen and heard. I put my focus into showing them that they have autonomy and can set boundaries with me to maintain their comfort.

Availability
I'm currently available to sit and walk pets every day of the week! Overnights and longer periods of time are perfect as my schedule allows for round the clock care! For round the clock care, I provide feeding and walks (and any other needs) at whatever points in the day your fur baby is used to, to help them adjust to the changes around them.
