I have been passionate about animals my entire life. I grew up with pets of all kinds, from dogs and cats to ferrets, birds, rabbits, rats, and guinea pigs. I used to work at a busy dog hotel and frequently managed playgroups of 15-20 dogs of all sizes by myself. I have experience with a large variety of breeds and temperaments and regularly cared for and walked reactive dogs or dogs with other behavioral issues. I often saw dogs who were very scared being in the hotel and I have learned how to interact with those dogs without increasing their anxiety. I have been trained by professional dog trainers about dog body language, behavioral issues, and basic training commands. My job duties included feeding, walking, cleaning up messes, medication administration, managing large playgroups, training, etc.
