HAPPY PAWS PET SITTING SERVICES, LLC NY Department of State Registered Business Lena Bombard, Owner/Proprietor. “Compassionate and Reliable Care for Your Furry Family Members.” There is a high demand for pet sitters and I love animals and enjoy providing care for pets through drop-in visits and house sitting for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I do offer dog walking and pet boarding for only 1-2 pets at a time. I have over 30 years of pet care experience and work full-time at the local Humane Society where I’m the current Shelter Manager/ACO and have been employed there for over 23 years. I have provided care for large farm animals, as well as a variety of small creatures like turtles, fish, birds, lizards, sugar gliders, and even a tarantula,(that one was kinda nerve wracking!) I have experience giving prescription medications, including insulin injections for diabetic pets and specialized care for senior and special needs pets. I want the best for all animals, and I am committed to keeping pets happy in their homes when pet parents are away or need assistance providing walks for their dogs. Lena took very good care of our two cats. She was very thorough and updated us on each of her visits, including pictures. We have a very timid cat and Lena was able to gain his trust in a short amount of time. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. We look forward to working with her again in the future!
Lena was wonderful with our dog Cinder. She was accommodating to her three meals per day and took her on daily walks (which my dog currently misses 😆) She would answer all my text messages, even letting me know how the weather was at home! She is just very caring of our family member!
Lena was great!! This is the first time I have ever had to leave my animals ( 2 German Shepard’s, 3 cats), and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in her care. They loved her the first time she came to visit them, as well as second visit. I am so happy I found Lena. Definitely will be using her in the near future! 😊🐕🐈⬛
Lena was very professional and knowledgeable in the care of my large dog,Louie, and Chef Kitty. She kept me informed and sent pictures. My pets were well cared for and happy. I would highly recommend Lena.

I always keep dogs leashed on walks for safety and handling control in public. I will utilize a fenced yard for dogs to play/exercise if one is available at the dog’s home. If there is an invisible fence, I always stay outdoors and monitor the dog while they are enjoying their time.I prefer to keep all cats indoors during my pet sitting jobs for safety and monitoring.

A typical day
I enjoy interacting and providing play time for the active dogs and cats I take care of. I’m also totally fine with just sitting on a couch to hang out and watch a show or read with a shy or less active pet. I understand animal behaviors and always do my best to make a pet comfortable during my visits. I can also provide care for pets with special needs.

Availability
I work full-time at the 9am-5pm, and I am on call for my Animal Control Officer job 24/7. Despite these full-time job responsibilities, I have always been able to handle my pet sitting schedules. For drop-ins for dogs I will do morning, dinner and late evening visits to the owner’s homes. I generally take care of cats and other small pets twice a day in the morning and at dinner time. I do offer short term house sitting and will spend the night at your home with your pets.
