Pet care experience
I have had many pets throughout my life and am great with both cats and dogs; I will love your pet like it’s my own! My availability is relatively open however I do have a job, but I am flexible! I am able to work around my schedule to ensure satisfaction for both you and your pet. I'm happy to stay at your home or your pet can come to mine. My goal is to make sure your dog or pet enjoys their stay away from home and is as comfortable as possible. I will maintain the habits that they have and will make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart. I am super excited to meet your pets and get to know you as well! Contact me and we can coordinate our schedules to find what works best! Like many people, I'm working from home and have a fairly flexible schedule in terms of walks during the weekday - and am totally free on the weekends. I'm also available for boarding during the week and weekends! I live in a clean, spacious 2 bedroom apartment in a very walkable walkable neighborhood, with a dog park 3 blocks away. I live with one roommate and we both love dogs and love having them in our home!

Lelah was great! She took the time to get to know the specifics of how to work best with Bowie and I felt really comfortable leaving my pup with her. Bowie seemed to have a blast!
Lelah did a great job taking care of Pepper! Pepper didn't seem to want to leave! Lelah was communicative and provided updates, and even addressed a concern with me when I picked up Pepper. I would highly recommend her for any future dog boarding!
Lelah was great. She really helped me out at the very last minute. She was responsive and reliable. Fred has some separation anxiety but it seemed he really took to Lelah and had a great stay! I will definitely rebook for another visit.
Lelah is great! My puppy took to her right away and she takes great care of him, making sure he gets exercise and attention during his walk time, even on rainy days.

Before sitting for your canine pal though, I would need to know about any medical issues, medication requirements, or any other daily requirements your dog has that would require adjustments in activities. And, of course, it's always great to find out what kind of treats and activities your dog prefers so we can have the best experience possible!
A typical day
Typically, we will go on walks on the street around Dupont Circle, Meridian Hill Park, and during nice weather to Rock Creek Park, which is within walking distance. It will all depend on your dog's likes and health. If your dog has anxiety in unfamiliar areas or is physically unable to walk far, we will do more frequent but short walks close to my home.
