Lejla didn’t just walk my dog but made an impression on my entire neighborhood! A few of my neighbors told me that she was incredibly friendly and such a (hilarious) delight when they saw her out on a walk. No accidents in the house when I came back and my pup was tired out so I know she did an amazing job! Will be recommending to my entire neighborhood! Thank you!

*DO NOT USE THIS SITTER* I have had wonderful and normal experiences on Rover for a few years in two different states, but unfortunately, this is my first time needing to leave a negative review for a sitter. Lejla did not follow instructions, did not know how to use a basic dog harness for my dog, did not send photos unless I reached out and asked, and most importantly, I paid for 2 overnights (10AM Friday to 10AM Sunday, clearly on the booking) and she instead left my dog for over 15 hours at my house alone, on the second overnight. She left my home at 8:50PM on Saturday instead of 10AM Sunday. She claimed in the external messaging that she "misunderstood" the time, however I am not sure how 10AM in confused with 8:50PM when it is documented in multiple areas (Rover booking, external text message, internal Rover messaging, etc.). Additionally, she specifically asked me on Saturday evening, "what time tomorrow are you returning so I can plan her last walk" and my reply was "Please stay until 10AM then good to go", so there is no "misunderstanding" - she knew she was to be there until 10AM Sunday and instead left the evening prior. We have lock history on our front door, as well as a camera on our driveway, and it was not until we checked our security app upon landing from our plane that we saw she had not been back since 8:50PM the previous night. We could not get someone there until noon, 15 hours later, to check on our dog. While I am sure Lejla loves animals and has a big heart, the competence is not there and I do not trust my pet or house with this sitter. I cannot count the number of times she asked me about when to come over and when to leave, which is the most basic of pieces of info for a dog sitting service. I do not recommend this sitter for overnight stays or any sort of pet sitting. I wish I could recommend her for pet walking, but she texted me letting me know she didn't know how to work the basic step-in harness for my pet. That worried me as she claims to have many years of experience with dogs. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but as someone who would want to know this info if I were choosing a sitter, I want to leave my experience here so others can choose wisely on who they let into their home to care for their beloved animals. I have had three other amazing sitters in this area since moving here, and if it were not due to schedule conflicts, would continue to use the three I already have in the area.
