My job can sometimes be stressful (I work from home) -- it's a welcome reprieve to play with dogs! Sometimes all it takes is just looking over at them -- I smile and it's instant stress relief! I want to combine my love of animals with my career drive and I thought, why not be a pet sitter! I grew up with dogs and have raised a few of my own. I have the most experience with Boxers, but have had and watched Labs, Rat Terriers, Chihuahuas and a variety of mixed breed and rescue pups. My recent challenge has been 'keeping the peace' between my sister's Chihuahua (who doesn't get along with others) and my rescue lab mix. Plus, we've recently introduced a Yorkie puppy to the mix! I've helped several friends with their dogs and treat everyone's pup as if they're my own! My friends and family know that if I'm watching their dog, they're going to be given more cuddles, attention and play time than they're used to. I'm like the crazy, fun Aunt that they beg to go visit! I work from home so I can provide your pup with tons of supervision! My own dog loves to play a game where I let her outside, she'll run a lap, then bark to come back inside...the cycle continues! So I spend a lot of time close to the back door letting her in and out! We have a huge yard, so I'd love to let them run around and enjoy themselves. When I'm watching someone else's dog, I am always outside with them and can commit to going outside with them at least every two hours. I'm an introvert, so I spend a lot of time at home reading, cooking, listening to music, etc. So when I'm not working, I'm still home keeping my pup company! I decided to join Rover to make some extra money and because I just love being around dogs! I know how difficult it can be to put your trust in someone when it comes to your baby! I'm a full-time professional who has a flexible schedule and take my responsibilities seriously. Thanks for the opportunity to spend time with your pup!
