I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses. I have been taking care of other people's pets since I was 17. I started professionally grooming dogs eight years ago and have been grooming ever since. Taking care of pets is important to me and I understand what it takes to care for animals of all ages while their families are away.

I have witnessed Leila work as a dog groomer over the past two years, and she treats every client of hers as if they were her own pet. Every dog she grooms is treated with love and respect, and I have no doubt that she would make an excellent pet caregiver. I have entrusted Leila to cat sit for me multiple times, and each time I have gotten back a healthy, well-loved cat. I can guarantee Leila would bring the same grace, experience, and compassion I see her exhibit at work everyday to any pet owner’s home.
Leila does an amazing job with both my dogs and cats. She has a solid background in grooming which let's me know she can handle different breeds aside from my 4 large shepherds. My girls have been comfortable with her from the start and I know they will be well cared for while Leila looks after them. My cats are also very social and she is great about hanging out with them and letting them have their play time. I highly recommend Leila as your petsitter!
Leila is a wonderful pet sitter! I connected with her through dog grooming and now, along with that, I use her for my household that has a mix of cats and dogs and everything always goes smoothly. She’s reliable and dependable when it comes to scheduling, has always given my dogs their medications as directed, walks them, and sends a lot of updates which I appreciate. Overall, a very well rounded care taker for your furry friends. I always highly recommend her to any friends that are needing grooming, pet sitting, and dog walking needs.

It's important for me to be informed of any potential health concerns before my stay with them. This would include dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, or injuries. None of that would make me shy away from being able to care for them but being fully informed is the only way I can ensure a seamless stay for both your pet(s) and me and allows me to care for them to the fullest extent and receive all the care they need.
A typical day
While I love cuddling on the couch with your dogs/cats, I do recognize the importance of making sure they are adequately mentally and physically stimulated. For pups I am pet sitting for, I am happy to take them out on daily walks and give them sniffing time around the neighborhood or play fetch/tug if that's something they enjoy.

Availability
I regularly work three days a week as dog groomer. On those days I am usually grooming from 9am to 4pm and am available for drop-ins outside of those hours. I am also available for over night stays with your pets.
