Hi my name is Leighanna and I believe that I am a great pet sitter because I have had years of experience caring for pets. I have been dog sitting for family friends since I was around 14 years old, and I have enjoyed every moment of it. Whether it was playing with them, walking them, or simply keeping them company, I always made sure the dogs were happy and well cared for. Additionally, I have also house-sat cats and chickens before, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals. When I am pet sitting, I make sure to follow the owners instructions closely and provide frequent updates to give them a peace of mind while they are away. I understand that pets are an important part of peoples lives, and I take the responsibility of caring for them seriously.

I would ensure your pets have plenty of opportunities to play and exercise, whether that involves going for walks, playing fetch in the backyard, or engaging in other activities that the pet enjoys. Playing is essential for a pets physical and emotional well being! If your pet needs a bath, I would be happy to give them one for, using the products the owner provides. I’ll also be mindful of any special grooming or bathing instructions proved by the owner. I also understand that some pets may need to be crated for their safety or comfort. If this is the case, I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable and has everything they need, such as water, toys, and blankets. I would never leave a crated pet for an extended period of time and I’ll ensure they have plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and get belly rubs.

Availability
As someone who is currently fitting pet care into my daily routine around my work schedule, I can say that it requires some planning and flexibility. I am available on sundays after 3PM or every other day after 6:30PM, but this can change depending on my work schedule. I understand that the pets I care for need attention and care, so I am willing to adjust my schedule to make sure they get what they need. Please make sure to schedule pet care appointments in advance so I can prioritize making sure I’m available.
