Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs of all kind since I was about 10. We grew up with a German Shepherd first and then my step dad was really into hunting. I’ve lived with dogs from Labrador Retrievers, English and Cocker Spaniels, Boxers, and lots of Shar Peis. I’m currently a dog owner of 2 dogs, one 2 year old Shar Pei and a Doberman mix. I also foster dogs from Shar Pei Nation Rescue, 501c3. My door is constantly revolving with pets and yet somehow we keep it smelling fresh as a daisy. I’m comfortable giving medicine of most varieties and I’ve worked with handicap dogs well.

Leigh is a fabulous sitter! We have been thrilled with her and our dog and cat simply adore her. And she is so flexible! Seems like somehow, someway something comes up after our booking that throws a wrench in. And she's " No problem! I'll adust!" She goes above and beyond - absolutely a 5 star rating!
Very impressed. Personable, knowledgeable, went above and beyond. Pets loved her. "My dog was on her best behavior for you? What ??!! MY dog... ?" Absolutely will seek Leigh out again.

I have two dogs at my house who are very welcoming with other dogs (even kids although that doesn’t apply) they’re patient and not territorial. I have a fully fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run. My dogs are furniture dogs, they eat two times a day (plus a little table food here and there)

Before I take your dog on a walk and bring them in a social environment, I just like to know if your dog is okay walking by people, kids, or other dogs.
A typical day
My house is filled with toys from barkbox, the kids think the dogs have more toys than them. I can bring anything from a frisbee to a ball to squeaky or rope toys. I have two types of leashes. One for running and staying close by. I’m happy to go for walks at the beach if your dog enjoys swimming or if they just want to go to the park.

Availability
I currently work full time, M-F, but I’m able to be flexible and communicate well. I don’t particularly need to do rover, I just wanted to because I enjoy being able to help. I’ve been in many situations where I’ve needed last minute care and plans have fallen through so I’m just here to help where I can.
